You walk down the crowded city street to your favorite card shop. You walk in, and see nothing but familiar faces, maybe a few kids trying to get into the game. A few guys in the corner wave to you, and you wave back. You walk along the counters, examining all of the cards, noticing the new cards that just came in. This card shop has everything, Hologram duel discs, nearly every card on the market as well as card packs, and accessories such as deck boxes, deck protectors, and other miscellaneous things. The shop also has a spot only the elite of the shop know about, where high level trading and holographic duels go on. You are one of these elite. "So what do you want today?" the friendly voice behind the counter calls to you.

The regulars call the Shop Destiny's Card Shop, since it has every thing they ever need (there is a mini fridge in a lounge area), all the cards they can ask for are there, and the dueling never ends. The shop is always open, and run by a young man named Samuel, whom everyone knows, but does not see very often. He holds tournaments monthly, and the tournaments are open to all, and are run by computers to prevent cheating. If anyone cheats, they are thrown out, and their cards locked away (another thing regs like about the place). Samuel also competes in the tournaments, and does a decent job, but his best factor is intimidation, which usually comes along with cards like the Gate Guardian. You are here for one of his infamous tournaments, along with the large group of people crowding around the computers in the dueling/trading are of the large 3 story building.





You finally reach the computer. And you type in your deck, and scan all of your cards. you choose whether or not if you want your deck to be common knowledge, and after you finish, you see the public list, starting off with Samuel Schaffer (the owner of the shop):

The Deck leader is used in place of your picture, and used in place of your name in the tournaments. You input your numbered deck into the system, the computer spits out a rule book for you, and wait for your turn to duel.





Alright, here's how this works, you submit a deck by posting in this RP, or via PM if you want your deck to be private. You need a minimum of Forty Cards, a side deck consisting of no more than 15 cards if you so choose so you can change your cards in between duels (Numbered S1-S15), your fusion deck if you have fusion monsters (Numbered F1, F2, F3, etc.). There will be thread moderators who will act as Judge characters in the RP, and they will give all of the information on the duel. Before you start dueling, you must post at least five times, picking a number between 1 and the number ofcards in your deck, this will be your opening hand. after the opening duel is declared by a judge, he will pick a number between one and the number of cards in the deck of the opening character, and after their turn, (s)he will post all of the nessecary information, and pick a number for the next character. Everything else needed will be in the next post, such as examples, and character lists/forms.

Samuel walked through the large group of people, in his usual dueling attire, plain black sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, tight pony-tail, and his water drop necklace on his fine gold chain. He looked at the group around him, and he smiled at this months turn out. He turned and saw the computer shuffling the competetors. One of the two screens stopped on the Aqua Madoor, signifying the computer was choosing his duel.

Samuel grinned widely seeing the throng of people turn up for histournament. He looked up as the crowd cheered, he saw that the computer had set his duel to be televised for everyone not dueling, and it will be projected using holograms, and be played using duel disks. He looked back down seeing that everyone was looking around and talking, some almost taking bets on who his opponent would be.
