Tatsumi let out a sigh, gesturing to the shore. "Somewhere it's not wet," he murmured, looking to Naoki through a mask of dark lashes.

"Is that further onto the sand, or would you like to leave the lake altogether?" Naoki continued to smile brightly to the other. "And you really shouldn't hide your face all the time! Why do you~?"

After a moment, or an eternity, of silence, Tatsumi let out a low sigh. He gave the other an unsure smile, gesturing with a gloved hand as he meandered towards the sand. "I do not like to show my face," he started, tilting his head. He had never been asked such a thing before, so he had a hard time preparing a reaction. "I guess it is just because I do not like it."

"And you talk so formally!" Naoki exclaimed, treading after the other. "It looked fine to me! I think it suits you. And it's not ugly or anything~" The boy quickly shuffled so that he was beside Tatsumi, linking an arm with his. "I'd like to see it more," he said quietly, mostly to himself.

Tatsumi kicked a few stones from the surface of the sand and dirt before sitting down, wrapping his scarf tighter around himself as he pulled his knees to his chest, hugging them tightly. "Formally...?" he questioned, mostly to himself. He gestured with a nod towards the ground next to him, an invitation for Naoki to sit.

The boy allowed himself to fall heavily to the ground beside Tatsumi. "How come I tell you that I like your face or something, and then you just hide some more?" Naoki pouted, leaning against the other, his eyes large as he looked at him. "Are you thaaaaat shy~?"

Tatsumi's face flushed, and he sighed quietly in his annoyance. "Mm," he hummed quietly, nodding slowly before a gloved hand reached to tug at his thick scarf, revealing some more of his pale, pretty face.

"See? Is it really that bad?" Naoki smiled brightly, clasping his hands together so he could avoid the urge to tug the scarf even further away from the other's face. "If you're cold, then you can cover up. But if not, then you should show off~ You're very cute from what I can tell~" the boy continued excitedly, patting his feet on the ground.

Tatsumi let out a little chuckle, practically against his will. He turned his green eyed gaze to Naoki, giving him the slightest of smiles. "Where are you from?" he questioned, his gloved fingers dancing along the edge of his scarf, teasing it as it pulled lower from his face.
