Hmm...not sure how I feel about the new Sontarans, or their return in the first place.
They were never a particularly fantastic alien to begin with. The face looks better but the armor...looks a bit Master Chief to me. xd
Although, like Richard says, Russel usually pulls off whatever he sets his mind too. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
As for Martha...I'll bet she married the vet. 3nodding

Richard_Swift Still, Russell knows what he's doing. Everytime he's done something which I've been convinced was The Worst Possible Thing He Could Do, it's turned out pretty fantastic once it's hit the screen. You're leaving the Slitheen...thing.. out of this, right? >_<

The Slitheen were in no less than four episodes, by the way. >_<
And yes, to everyone having an off day, but not that frequent....

Ceribri You're leaving the Slitheen...thing.. out of this, right? >_< I most certainly am not. I love the Slitheen. Narratively, then once you get past the harmless fun of the fart-gags then they're a wonderfuly example of the creepy blended with the mundane. They're an ideal device by which to tell thier original two-parter and they're even more interesting close-up in Boom Town. Technically, then they're a very impressive example of how to get costume-work to gel with CGI on a British TV budget. Culturally, then they're the first Doctor Who monster to really strike a chord with the public imagination in decades. That's why everyone in the audience loves them. Except, for some reason, hardcore Doctor Who fans. Probably because they're too invested in taking the show seriously. The Absorbaloff's great too. All the more for not being created by Russ, but by the winner of a Blue Peter competition.

Yeah. >>;; Sorry.
They just get on my nerves, especially since it reminds me of the stupid stuff my sisters watch...and I did like Boom Town more than the others.
Just no fart jokes, please. Everything else about them is good.

OK, point taken. I meant I knew that she has a boyfriend when she comes back, so she's wearing a ring on that finger (I used to do that, even before I got engaged. I'm single now...).

there is defiantly something with the ring and when she comes back shes a proper doctor, then Russel really needs another reason for her not to go back to the Doctor permanently really..

I didn't notice that before. That's very interesting. Who is she with? The possibilities are endless.
