"Okay, I'll hold you on those words. And, um... Maybe you'll sit or something?" Mika pointed at the free chair by his table. He felt pretty weird when someone was standing over him like that.
"...So, You moved here recently?"

"Oh, sorry," Jesse mumbled, moving to pull out the chair and slide into it, hand moving to remove his hat as an afterthought and nest it in his lap. "Yeah - just recently moved up here to go to High School. And you? Have you lived here long?"

Mika laughed quietly. "Not really, you know. Some of us like stability."
The truth was, some time ago he did try to move out... But quickly came back, making an explanation that he was at a friend's those few days. It was really hard to believe how spoiled he became. It was from that day that he started to look at himself with a dose of humour.

Jesse fell silent for a bit, thinking over the words he'd been offered. The blue eyes turned inwards, staring past what he was watching through the window as if he could see directly into the passer-bys. "Stability's a good thing n'all," he finally offered absently. "But sometimes... A bit too much of it ruins a person fer good. They get too used to bein' one way, and then somethin' comes along n' knocks 'em the other and they don't know what t' do. I think it'd be good to manage being..," he paused, waving a hand as if physically grasping for the word. "Flexible," he decided at last, lips stretching into a watered down version of the winning, cheerful smile.
