That do not involve
1. Getting hospitalized
2. Getting beat up by Simon.
3. Parents getting killed/maimed/hospitalized.

...

So this is a thread for new, fresh, ideas for characters and personality development, that you'd like to see... Perhaps they don't fit your character, but they might someone else's, and thus these ideas can get people thinking.
Because everyone wants their character to be unique, and have some hidden drama... But the ones above... I don't want to hear about. XD While they're perfectly fine... They've been done, more than once. :3

So my ideas.... (And if someone's doing them, kudos to you XD)

1. Being the "perfect experiment". D-corp seems to put out alot of... do not wants, even one of their tops; keanu, gets himself into more trouble than they'd like...
So what if one was PERFECT? Everything D-corp could ever hope for? Suddenlly, they'd be getting alot more attention (promising students are prone to getting better treatment from teachers) resulting in alot of pressure being placed on the individual...
Think of the mental angst that comes with being "perfect" O: When you slip up, it's that much greater.. yada yada.

2. Mental disabilities: Like.. autism(probably higher functioning, so you can still roleplay well enough), mental handicaps, other various little things that won't always be noticed when born. It's great to be the awesome smart student, with some sort of hidden talent... but what about the less played kids who are "lacking" in abilities? These are things you can put in without having to ask me (unlike other disabilities such as blindness and so on) though if you need information please ask. :3

How about having a parent who actually *gasp* LIKES the boss? xd Alan needs to get laid anyways.

Hmm... how about... a metaplot that doesn't destroy half of the building? *snickers*

I'll chalk this up to me not being around the forums as much as I should (man, I wish there was a better notifier for guilds than just guild announcements)

But what about actually involving the parents in their child's development related to their animal sides? I don't know if it's still a popular trend now as it was back when I first joined but there were alotta folks confused about why they suddenly had this weirdo animal baby and just kinda raised it like a kid only to be shocked when it did something animal like. Maybe along with the care package the Dcorp give folks they could give them a crash course on the animal their child was bred from to help with adjustment? Like say.. a journal prompt that requires one journal entry at the least? You could even toss it in later in the stage of development to kinda give the staff a peek at how well their subjects are progressing.

-Or-

It seems like the kids grow one way and the parents just kinda go through the motions.

Yanno, get the parents to do their own playdate requirements for the newly inducted kind of that whole 'things seem less weird if you're not the only one doing it' thing. I mean, these are families or supposed to be like families so maybe something that helps them do..family stuff?
