This thread is the basic story behind Alpha to Omega (The RP thread itself will follow when I feel there are adequate numbers.). It will give you an idea of what the RP is about, a general guideline of the environment and the mood.
-Behind the Story-
This RP features reference to both the Archie Comics and Sega Cannon Sonic history and characters in addition to my own personal twist.
-The Situation-
Dr. Eggman, the greatest technological genius and warlord Mobius has ever known, has died. Sonic and the Freedom Fighters have claimed their greatest victory in the ages long struggle and as such, Sonic, Sally, Rotor, Bunny, Tails Antoine, Amy, Knuckles and even Shadow have left on a well deserved vacation. The heroes leaving on a long cruise around the local star system presented the perfect opportunity for a group of former Eggman soldiers to make their move against the Acorn Kingdom.
Lead by Commander Strife, the Egg-Loyalist Regime have started yet another war that will ravage the planet Mobius. So it would seem that even in death, Dr. Eggman's grip over the planet has not loosened. These are desperate times, and desperate times have lead to desperate measures. King Maxamillion has enlisted a rouge mercenary group to lead the charge against the Loyalists. That group is known worldwide as "The Specters"
-The Factions-
Egg-Loyalist Regime: If you join this party you will be playing the role of a villain.
Citizens of Mobotropolis/The Acorn Kingdom/Station Square: If you join this party you will be a neutrality, not really for or against any sides.
King's Army/The Specters: If you join this party you will be playing the role of a hero.
-NPC/Storyteller Characters-
These are characters that I will control for sake of story integrity.
- King Maxamillion, Strife Grenadus and Geophry St. John
-Rules-
Basic Guild Rules/Gaian Rules/RP Guidelines apply. PG-13 rule applies, though a little more leeway is given to cursing and violence. It is a war after all. You are given freedom to play out your own side-stories/character driven exploits as long as they adhere to the principle theme of the RP.
-What to do Here-
I'll assume most of you have posted a character profile in the stickied thread. If you wish to join post here and link to that profile and then state which faction you wish to be a part of. You may also ask me any questions about the RP, its story or what some of the big words I use mean. sweatdrop

Sounds like fun, really. We have couple of Rp's that have a feel like this, Mobius revisited being one, but it's always fun for the differences and the change of narrator of the story. I'm all for joining this one, as long as other members wish to join.

I really do hope a fair number will take interest in this RP. It's one I've been planning since my previous RP board fell off the cliff of cyberspace. Eve n a small amount of people who have 2 or more characters could conceivably carry the RP provided enough characters were on the two main sides (Heroes and Villains.)
I should note that in addition to the 3 listed NPC's I'd be playing my own two main characters; Shae the Bat and Quinne the Rabbit. (Profiles in Sticky.)
