Kyo'tori sat idle in the jungle, ruffling his feathers with boredom. The elder flicked his tail about on the ground as he peered around the silent forest floor. What fun was the jungle if no one else was around to make that time enjoyable? He squinted his eyes and stood up, a glare in his orange eyes. He then extended his wings and flapped them lightly with a stretch. Yawning, he looked up to the sky with a grin. He'd really love to go up into the sky, or the treetops, for that matter. Maybe there was a monkey or other creature up there.
Curiously, he raised a paw to the nearest tree trunk, as he readily tried to climb up. The challenge would keep him busy for a little. The sounds of tropical birds and other animals of the tops were heard. It warmed the elder's heart, hearing the voices of animals just like himself. With a waggle to his butt, he lept up to a branch and called out to his friends.
"Hows the tops this morning?"
