Sorry in advance if I'm meant to include this in the Texas thread!
Any of you guys in one of the bands that performed last night? Just curious! It was a really great experience and a fantastic way for us to end our season. All of the bands there were really great!
I'm in the Plano band, by the way. Sorry about the "Plaaaaanooo" chant if it annoyed you, it's tradition. Heh.

My school was the host of the Centennial marching festival. we were the last band to perform did you like ithe performance? hope you did cause i was out there marching with a messed up knee and after getting off the field i was put on Krutches.

Yeah, I was in the Frisco HS Band. We were the first to perform that day (ugh!), and we didn't do too well.
Oh, and congrats to Centennial HS for making it to State Contest! I'm one of those Frisco people who doesn't have a huge jealous-fueled hatred of you guys...and I'm the minority wink

Yeah, I was in the North Mesquite HS Band and heh... our band was the only band in class 4A who made a 2 which kind of sucked... Man, people just cannot learn to act serious and to just stop goofing around... But at least we tried our best this season. I know next year will be even more challenging for us.... mad

Deaths_Kitty Yeah, I was in the North Mesquite HS Band and heh... our band was the only band in class 4A who made a 2 which kind of sucked... Man, people just cannot learn to act serious and to just stop goofing around... But at least we tried our best this season. I know next year will be even more challenging for us.... mad i know what you mean but our band director wouldn't let us goof off so we were always serious

That was then - this is now. Now, our new director can't really control us - he just goes on a guilt trip and gives up confused
