Ah, the church... What the hell. Good on them. The military is protecting their squishy a** from getting it shot. So they can F*** off and S*** on someone else. He wasn't gay; why the hell were they protesting things about homosexuals? He wasn't even f***ing gay! ... ... Stupid piece of crap government agencies... churches attacking heroes and crap... what's the world coming to... I'm a monkey...0.o Nevermind...

The WBC tries to justify protesting at the funerals of any US soldiers of any sexuality for fighting for a country that tolerates homosexuals. That's why they were demonstrating at that funeral. They've done it many, many times.

I've never heard of this group. Which is good. Weather the guy was agy or not, who freakin cares? He may be going to hell for being gay (since that seems to be the general idea), but what the church is doing is wrong, and they are likely going to hell too.

PirateEire i like burnination they still have free speech. <__< Unless it leads to emotional trauma. Hoooray for the Justice System. didn't the family apply for a civil suit? because i heard that only the Supreme Court can rule on constitutional matters. so Pirate were you hoping that the case was thrown out of court? it seemed like the general opinion of respectable EDers was that they still had a right to do what they did, however detestable and scummy and (insert string of acronyms for "horrible" here ... i don't think any English word can properly convey the depth of their wickedness).

Most EDers are holding to the fact that Free Speech is on their side, however we're all pretty much hoping that they get slapped around and have to pay up. What I want to know is how that family got the million they have in the first place. From what I hear they can't even hold on to their Legal licenses, how can they make that pile of money?

What happens when an organization, not an individual, has to pay 10 times its net worth? They can't exactly place a garnishment on it, the people would just stop tithing in that case.
