Quote: What really puzzles me is this phrase that keeps cropping up - 'Unwanted Pregnancy'. How can any pregnancy be 'unwanted'. Surely every pregnancy is a miracle. So yes, the law should be changed - ban this murderous practice altogether. It made me lol and die a little inside. It came from here, a UK news website comment section. Thankfully most of the comments are pro-choice, but this one had 22 recommendations! O_O

Miracle, as described by dictionary.com –noun 1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. 2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God. 3. a wonder; marvel. 4. a wonderful or surpassing example of some quality: a miracle of modern acoustics. I see nothing that fits pregnancy in here...

It's sad that this isn't suprising. Lifers say naive crap like this all the time.

It made me chuckle a bit. Having been through pregnancy, I know full well that there was no miracle to it aside from my going through with it.

Pro-lifers try to sugarcoat pregnancy so that they can easily force a woman to not abort. Combined with picketing at clinics, harassing those who try to go in, they are a force that must be stopped.
*brings out light saber* Use the force!
Sorry. Random sugar induced moment, there. xd

Random sugar induced moment, there. xd So, are we the Light Side of the force? I mean, we're for justice and all things good, and the Sith think what they're doing is right... Oh! And their main tactics involve anger and violence, like the Sith! Choicers, on the other hand, use thought and clarity, like the Jedi! -babbles on about how the abortion debate can be like the philosophy behind Star Wars- (I need a life. xd ) [/offtopic] But yes, they do believe that pregnancy is some sort of miracle. I don't get their logic, either. Maybe they have an obession with screaming, blood-covered wrinkly things painfully making their way out of people's ofrices... Hey, does anyone know any lifers that enjoyed the movie Alien? Just a question. I'm a b***h, today. >:D

a shitload of babies are born everyday and the population of the earth is well over 6 billion. i really don't understand how anyone can view another ******** person as a miracle. there's a line in a song that says "...like a newborn baby it just happens everyday". well, if something happens everyday, i really don't think it should be called a miracle. far from it, really.

...This makes me want to bash myself on the head repeatedly with an oversized jagged pipe.
I swear... The more I read about these things and can't respond to them, the more I feel like smacking a b***h. Alas, I can't...
It's the same with PETA and godhatesfags. Speaking of that particular group of hateful "Christians," it seems to me like they're growing into the type of cult that the FBI needs to exterminate eventually. Just recently in the paper, a few of them came to some local army guy's funeral and started bad-mouthing him. saying he was a f*****t and all that jazz. He fought and died for the country you currently live in, and you spit on his grave? What the ********?! Well, they got sued for, like, $10,000,000 and the plaintiff won, but it's doubtful he'll get the money...
This has nothing to do with abortion, so I'll stop ranting now. Just something that never fails to annoy me. Yeah.

Peh..I'm sure it seems like a miracle to people who actually want it to happen..and closed minded people that can't understand how others feel about it.
I swear..the more closed-minded obstinate crap I see, the more I just want to curl up in a hole and never come out.
ATTN all people that think pregnancy and childbirth is ALWAYS a miracle and ALWAYS good for everybody:
