Silver...

Soooo... Halloween night. You're supposed to wear a costume, and you're a phan. So how about a Phantom-related costume! For anyone who did that, post your costumes here!

I'll post some more pics that have mask and fedora later. I got a new mask! (No more Mr. Tonguestickoutimus!)

I wore an Erik costume in sixth grade. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. >: The one I did/do have is kind of damaged. Let me see if I can find it...

...Nope. Couldn't find it. >: My apologies. But, if anyone wants to see me as Mistoffelees from a year ago, just ask. xD

I have the whole costume, a man's suit and everything. XD I made it by buying items at a thrift store. The only thing I don't have is a coat with a tail and a cumber belt but ah well, nobody can see anything like that under the cape....

I've a full faced mask as well, but its silver and in need or a black spray paint. ^_^

A couple of years ago I dressed up as Erik, but I don't have any pictures of it.

I had a good time because I connected a couple of small external speakers to a portable CD player and had the soundtrack blasting as I was running around campus. The music professors especially loved that part.

I also went to the trouble of using liquid latex and stage makeup to make my face look deformed beneath the mask. That part was fun because I freaked a few people out with it.

My good deformity makeup dried up the day of Halloween, so I had to use dry and liquid make-up under my mask. Not a good idea when it's 90 degrees at night with a high humidity. -__-

Ew. mad pdisgust: See, that's why I didn't make my own deformity. I just painted the area around my eyes black and fake-elevated my cheekbones some. That didn't stop me from getting makeup all over the inside of my mask though. sweatdrop

Ugh, I hate inside-mask stains. Sometimes their permanent and a pain in the butt to clean when they're not.

Where do you guys get your masks? Do you just use the regular plastic ones from costume shops? I was thinking of getting one but I don't know how good they are.

Here's a phantom costume I came up with, although it's more of a "themed outfit," really. I feel like I should add more PotO elements to it.

Bwuhaha, I have a costume all planned out.

I spent my summer making latex foam and clay masks so I had a white base to work with. After I ran out of supplies I cut up the base I now have a very lovely Phantom mask. I wear a cape pretty much all year round so the rest should be easy.
