i'm pretty effing fed up with this effed up budget cut crisis in california!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 42 nimrods in my class! it use to be 35 in an Advanced class. they are forcing people in to be in advanced classes so theres room in the basic classes!! It's not fair! and then if you want out of a class that you never even signed up for you can't cause there's no room any where else. i am fed up with this coroded system of government. willl some one take down the govoner and impeach the man so we can have some on who will persuade the people to tax a little higher and have teachers take a pay cut!!!!!!
and then my piano teacher moves to the new school, and i'm stuck in choir!!!!! there use to be three classes of piano and i was going on my fourth year! FOURHT YEAR!!!!!!! and then piano is only offered 3rd period!!!! OMG!!! i have calculus that period and that's the only time its' offered! THIS IS COMPLETE BULL CRAPP!!!!! CRAP I TELL YOU!!!!!! I CAN"T SING!!!!!!!!!! I"M SOOO FRUSTRATED!!! It's my senior I should have seniority. what i do not get is why our school is being cheap a** bastards!! there are 20 kids in this proclaimed MUSIC class. and they all sigend up for piano. and only two are really there for choir and the rest are there for piano. well the teacher did not gain an education in playing piano! he only knows choir. why don;t they get some one else who can teach piano.
I AM GOING MENTAL! now i'm stuck as the choir pianist. not exactly the job i wanted. I still wanted to learn more technique and songs, and still learn music. not stop and performe at the level i am now. this is bologna!!!!! And then to top it off half the school's schedual is messed up. why cause people don't know how to balnce a budget. thank god i'm leaving this coroded place after high school. ( i hope i do get to leave)

AS 8B, I hope you're doing okay now after that venting of your school. I, too, was the school's (choirs) pianist for5 out of the 6 years. Starting from 7th grade and ending by 12th. I didn't do 7th grade. I was too shy. YEAH, ME ???? SHY???? Yup, at age 12, yes-sir-ree, I sure was. lol Take it as a compliment and run with it, meaning do the VERY best you can with it. Love ya, and am supporting you ! heart

When I ranted in my earlier post, it was the 4th day of school and my schedule was all whacked out liked it always is. I just read my rant and whoa I was super angry, I am laughing at what I wrote now. But now I am totally cool with being the pianist. It is hard to play deadlines but I have noticed my skill level is going up. That is so cool that you were a choir pianist as well! =) I totally know what you mean when you are talking about being shy! Last year was my first time performing in front of an audience. I performed at the Choir Christmas Concert. I did a solo compilation. I thought I was going to pass out! I was sweating bullets! I was the last to go on and I always thought the best should be saved for last. .I have stage fright which is weird because usually I am able to get in front of my classmates and give a presentation. I think it is just pure strangers that scare me. =)
Did you have a favorite composer or any favorite piece to play? Right now all I have been playing since school has started is Christmas music. My teacher is open to suggestions to what the choir can sing. I took the opportunity of finding a piece that was from a different culture and easy for me to play. Carol of bells! A Ukrainian Christmas Carol! The music takes no effort at all for me play. I am so glad; it is like giving me a break! These past couple of songs have been hard and there are rhythms I have not had time to learn making my stress level sky rocket.
