The planets don't effect trivial things like travel and how scary your Halloween is. Mine was fairly boring by the way.

Lady Lachesis The planets don't effect trivial things like travel and how scary your Halloween is. Mine was fairly boring by the way. I'm interested as to how you've formed that opinion, given that you seem to believe in astrology as it applies to some things, and then not to others. If the planets do have an influence on personality, then it's at least conceivable that whatever that mechanism is could also have an influence on other things, isn't it? I'm not saying you're wrong - I know next to nothing about non-natal astrology so I can't vouch for its alleged effects. I'm just curious since your view on the matter appears to be so strong, saying that astrology is a legitimate science on the one hand, and then being absolutely sceptical when it comes to a different area of the field. Incidentally, my halloween was actually kind of weird. My dog was growling at things that weren't there all day. confused

The planets don't effect your personality either. It's a like a calender, they don't actually effect you themselves that would be impossible. If your looking for things that have a direct effect on your personality your should look closer to earth. Same for travel. And, my dogs barks at things I can't see all the time, it was probably another animal, or something it heard...their senses are a lot more acute than ours.

If your looking for things that have a direct effect on your personality your should look closer to earth. Same for travel. Possibly, although given that we don't actually know anything about the mechanisms of astrology, we can't know this for fact. It'd be an amazing coincidence if the different periods of time in this calender system happened to correspond with the travels of the planets (i.e. the influences we attribute to 'mercury' always being within certain personality clusters of those we attribute to 'the sun' at the same times as mercury actually stands in these relations to the sun, and so on, for all the planets. It's hard to see how aspects could make sense, too. Aspects between what, if the planets aren't actually relevant? Quote: And, my dogs barks at things I can't see all the time, it was probably another animal, or something it heard...their senses are a lot more acute than ours. Very true, but this behaviour was abnormal for my dog - otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it as anything unusual. That said, she continued the same behaviour the next day, so who knows.

Not as far as I know. She does bark at things I can't see, but that's usually out a window. This time she was sitting at the very back of the kitchen, the blinds were closed so she couldn't see out, and she was staring into empty space growling.

xd May be that’s the reason why my Halloween is so stressful, I travel too many places every day during this Halloween…visiting those places back and forth. DX
