As much as I'd like to say this without sounding mean, I don't think I can. Don't take this the wrong way...

It's a recolor. I'd say start over completely. It's just Shadow, in different colors. Alter the quills, give him a unique flare! I, making dozens of characters, know how important this is. My older characters were all recolors, so I know what it's like. Just keep trying.

After seeing this, I say it's an improvement, but, to me, it just looks like Shadow with Amy's hair. Adding more streaks was nice, but the colors clash. Badly. It still needs a bit more. But it's still an improvement.

Try not to stick to the shadow sprite from Sonic Battle.....Use chaos and knuckles ect...

OK, that's fair enough. But do you have any advice to offer as to how the sprite could be improved? A frank statement doesn't really offer us any scope for discussion.
