Ophelia looked to the younger partner. She was obviously exhausted, and who would blame her? She was half the size of this guy, so she couldn't really keep up for long, especially when it involved using mass amounts of magic to protect and keep herself alive. Ophelia, however, lifted one of her hands into the air and a mighty gust of wind blew around her own body, as well as Magomi's. It tightly embraced both girls and captured the decreasing chucks of hail from Magomi's fire. The chucks of ice orbited around both of them; creating some sort of a shield and held there by the concentrated violent winds. A low sigh escaped the blond's lips when she lowered her hand from the air, and she stared at her nails calmly before stepping back. The pirate seemed to be quite interested in Magomi, not to mention the child seemed to enjoy fighting. At that point, Ophelia decided that she would only step in if she was summoned, or if the girl clearly needed some assistance.

Even in the short amount of time before Magomi created her shield of fire over the deck, the hail had done considerable damage to the deck of the vessel. The pounding ice had hit with enough force to shatter planks and break the mast, leaving the ship in less than favorable condition. The ship was still technically seaworthy, since it was still afloat, but it wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. At least not without magical aid, at the very least. Pirates and saliors began appearing back in the open from under their cover as the pirates resumed their attack on the men of the merchant vessel, ignoring for the moment the men on the deck that had been knocked unconsious or incapacitated by the falling ice. They would deal with those later.

The look on Malange's face shifted to one of annoyance as the sounds of ice pummeling the deck and shattering wood and bones gave way to the sound of rain and battle. "I'm a water elemental, of course." he replied to Magomi as he opened his eyes to look at the girls once more. The little girl was beginning to get on his last nerve, and that was never a good place to be. People who got on the last nerve of a dread pirate tended to end up keel-hauled or worse, and Malange wasn't about to go soft for a little girl. After all, she wasn't exactly a normal girl anyway. "So how long are we going to fight before you die?" Malange said in an annoyed voice as he twirled his blades in his hands.

Magomi looked thoughtful for a moment. Why was she protecting these people again? She had no attachment to them. Besides, they were pretty much done for. There ship was ruined and they would have to go back to land. She was sure she could get around just fine without them. In addition, they were sailors they could swim. They lived on the sea so hopefully they could. “I have a very very long time to fight. All the time in the world in fact, why rush?”

She tightened up on the shield so it covered only her and Ophelia. It used much less effort that way. “I have never seen a water elemental before, this is fun.” She voiced with a grin that verged on the insane side. “Demon vs. elemental, who will win I wonder” she grinned but it soon turned so a light almost innocent smile.

Throughout her talking, she had been drawing particles of earth from the surrounding water and sea floor. These particles now came together and slid slowly onto the deck breaking down shrapnel bits of wood and any organic matter in its path to be used. Letting the dirt idly swish around her foot for a moment, she threw a barrage of small sharply pointed ice daggers about the length of her ring finger in length. They were mostly to provoke him.

However, she paused and spoke to Ophelia. “What? your not having fun any more?”
