Half a year ago I had a really strange experience...I awoke one morning on a weekend, still half-asleep, to see a fire-bird on my ceiling chasing something, going round in sort of cirles.
It was very peculiar, as I didn´t see it like a normal bird chasing something up there, where you see it almost squashed and only the lower parts of the body, but from a very queer perspective.
I could see the whole body, from all sides, and it was upside down, as if it the ceiling were ground..yet it seemed natural..plus although normally it wouldn´t have so much space to fly there, yet it could..the ceiling was still flat, but it looked at the same time so strange, that it was able to manouver there..
The whole scene, when looked upon with rational mind, couldn´t have happened..it was something like from a dream, but I was awake, but very sleepy, so I didn´t realise it couldn´t happen in terms of physics. I saw it for several seconds, and then fell asleep, I couldn´t resist it.
When I woke up again, still very sleepy, I saw a golden dust falling on me, tons of it, and above me the fire bird, still flapping its wings. Then I fell asleep again, and when I woke up again, I woke up in a normal state of mind, and it was gone...
During the rest of the day, several times my mind seemed to stray to some grassy plains, which seemed frozen in time.. and I felt kind of strange, I remember, but can´t recall how exactly. I think I felt dreamy...and peaceful..I don´t know big:

Wow. This is honestly the first time I've heard of someone having an encounter with a firebird! Nice story!
This'll sound corny, but if it comes back, you're one lucky duck! It probably saved you from something nasty!

Wow, really? Coz that evil peter guy told me it¨s evil and that was the dust of death which will make me die about in a year´s time. (some months later he said he somehow magically uncasted it sweatdrop ...) And it goes and sprays it randomly on people who love fire... So since in stories it´s a lucky bird, it was quite the opposite, like you say? And do you think he could have taken the "luck" away? blaugh

I wouldn't trust Peter with a report, let alone stuff like this. There's something seriously strange about him. Given the rarity of firebird encounters, yeah, I'd call it lucky. It didn't look like a parrot, did it?

It didn´t look like a parrot most certainly. It was gold and red, and looked pretty much like the phoenix from the Harry Potter 5 cover...(the british one)...

This is honestly the coolest thing I've ever heard. You are really lucky! I definitely don't think it was anything negative. Lol, I really appreciate you sharing your experience.

I wish I were you. o.- The following probably happened: It WAS a dream, but it was one of those dreams where it's so realistic you didn't know it was only in your head, 2. It was some sort of mirage. 3. It really was a firebird, and you have just discovered something amazing. 4. You were in another dimension. XD probably not number four.

You, dear, may have witnessed a Cendrawsih. Which, by the way, would be much stranger than a phoenix, lmao. The Cendrawsih is an exotic bird whose feathers were very valuable and oft sought after by fashionable European women in the 19th century. They are thought to be extinct in the wild. Many are prone to confusing them with the phoenix.

They are beautiful. :3 And the dust? Who knows! ;D
More than likely, however, what you saw was a vision, or the remnants of a forgotten dream. The phoenix is a symbol of death, but also of rebirth. It may mean that a new phase in your life is about to begin. This can be either good or bad, depending on your perspective. Change, to me, is good. To you it may not be. But in any case, I doubt it was warning you of impending doom. If it was, then expect death and the stage afterward to be pleasant. Still, though, it's unlikely.
