NekoJen Triska Everything else I got. Even the 'Bother' one. But what are ballbearings? The Doctor likes edible ball bearings. Went on a tangent for a while about them in Fear Her. I was just wondering....do you have any, I dunno, permission from the owners of these pictures and icons to post them? For any of them?
One of MY own icons, yes, the 'Mr. Thick' quote, which I made on my OWN time, which was taken WITHOUT PERMISSION and placed on this page! Now, I ask, no, DEMAND, that you take my icon off of this page! And if I find out that ANY of you EVER decide to take or use any pictures or icons of mine without permission in the future, well, let's just say you'll WISH I was a Dalek. stare
Don't believe it's mine? Check the freakin' url, the photobucket is registered to MY name.

Um. The thing I'm noticing, or at least my impression, is that no one is claiming any ownership to any of these things. What this is is a fun thing to show off things FOUND on the internet. Now if someone were to say that an image belonged to them when it did not, that's when trouble begins.
I have to keep my eyes open for people who have stolen pics from a friend of mine. I know how miffed I got when I see them do it. The thing is, she's OK with it as long as they do NOT manipulate it OR claim it as theirs. *I've seen someone on Gaia take one. He/She got caught when it reached top pics.*
Trying to get permission for each and every little thing is hard. Especially when you want to show it off right then.
Now the places that one DOES need to seek permission before posting are your top places that have quality images. I sought permission from the Brother's Hilderbrant to put up their images on my web site. They say that as long as I put WHERE the images came from, and put up a link, it's OK.
But things like the ones I'm seeing on this thread.
If I made something funny, and found that people had taken it to show off to laugh over. I'd be like, "Alright! They like it! It's not dumb then!" Now for quality work, that's another story. I'd like to see a, "Where this came from" thing.

Obviously ya photobucket account isn't set to private 3. its the internet, theres bound to be countless others that have a copy of the imaged after YOU made it public. 4. since ya don't own anything of doctor who ya can hardly claim complete ownership of it and FYI, i make banners for people, i put hard work and effort into a image only to have them turn aaround on their profile and gloat it was all their own work, so don't try the whole "you don't under stand" BS. so just breathe and get over yaself.
