"Actually no, she wasn't, she was transfered schools to deal with more troubling students and I was asked to take over here. You can stay after class for detention Minkuru." Sumimassen replied, turning and starting the class, which, today, started out with math.
Xanto took a seat at the back of the class, watching the other students, most ignored him, though a few would look back at him now and then. Mostly he ignored them and payed attention to the teacher, it took all he had to keep up with the japanese being spoken, so he couldn't allow for distractions.

((XD Xan, Sumimasen is "Excuse me" in Japanes, Karuren just said "Excuse me.......teacher, where is Mrs. Sazuru?" ))
Minkuru spent the rest of the morning glooming in her chair as she partily followed along in class. Though the minute the lunch bell rang she sprung from her chair, nearly knocking her desk over and onto the student in front of her. "Karu-chan, to the roof!" She called as she pulled her Bento box out from her desk.
Karuren had fallowed threw hte classes just as intently as ever, never once showing as signs of being distracted. though once the lunch bell rang she nodded to her hyper active friend who went rushing out of the room. She calmly got up from her seat, pulling her Bento box out of her desk as well, and turned around to face Xanto, seeing as how most the other students had left for the caffiteria. "Ano....Xanto-san, would you like to join me and Minkuru on the roof for lunch?"

He looked up from his paper, just having finished to take notes, he looked tired, but nodded and pulled his own bento out and followed her. "I'm not used to Japanese being spoken so quickly." He said, shaking his head to clear it, his own Japanese was slow but he paused as the teacher called him to say that the next subject after lunch would be english. At this he brightened and nodded when he was told that he could speak english all he wanted during that class. He then hurried to catch up to Karuren.

There were a few other groups on the roof, but most seemed to be caught up in their own little worlds. Minkuru sat happily on the farthest corner of the roof, next to Karuren and two other girls. When she saw Xanto come onto the roof she stood up and waved. "Over here Xanto-kun." She said before she sat back down and opened her bento box. "My mom gave me sushi today! Alright!"
The red head next to Mink was leaning against the fencing that prevented the students from leaning over the edge of the roof, or worse. It was the same girls from earlier that morning, and her scowl was still plastered on her face. "Don't invite that foriegner over here Minkuru." She growled as she sent Xanto a not so friendly leer.
Karuren looked at the red headed girl with a dissapointed look. "Asuru-chan, please try to behave Xanto-san is new here." She then looked over to Xan with a faint smile. "I'm sorry about Asuru-chan, she's a little rough around the edges but she's not so bad once you get to know her." She patted the empty space next to her, offering Xanto a place to sit. "I noticed that you were having trouble keeping up with us in class, if you would like, I can help you with your homework."
The lavinder haired girl from before was also with Minkuru and Karuren, still reading her book as she quietly ate a rice ball.

He sat down, smiling gratefully. "It's just the japanese, sometimes I have a hard time keeping up. . .I'm a bit slow, but I should be fine in a few weeks. I just have to get used to it." He said, opening his lunch and looking inside curiously. "Well, mother hasn't changed, though where we are has, still the same old lunch."

"If theres any way I can help, please just ask, I'd be happy to help." Karuren said with a gental smile.
"You should have studyed Japanese before you came then." Came the monotoned voice of Shion. She went as far as to speak to Xanto in plain english, rather than Japanese like everyone else. She'd taken this time to close her book and stare at Xanto.
"Oh yeah, by the way, Shion here is Multilengual, she can speak five different languages, and one of them is a dead language!" Minkuru chimed in.
"No Minkuru-chan, one of them is not a dead language, it's just rarely spoken these days." Karuren corected her hyper active friend.
"This is a load of horse s**t, you guys wanna be all buddy buddy with the foriegner, have fun." Asuruan said, tossing her juice box over her shoulder as she headed inside.

"It isn't a matter of studying, I did, otherwise I wouldn't be able to talk to most of those here, it was simply a lack of practice, I could only practice with my teachers for so long each day." He then looked at Karuren with a smile. "Thankyou for the offer, but I will be fine, just a little strained for now as I adjust." He ate his lunch quickly and stood, turning. "If you will excuse me, I need to speak with the teacher for a bit about the next subject."
