WTF up with Dolph. He's completely ruined his and Anita's relationship and has been close to losing his job because of his mean streak towards the beasties.

Now that you mention it, yes he is sort of a poopie head. I get tired of seeing his over the top reactions but then part of me thinks someone should be smacking Anita around. I'm torn?
Basically the character has just become boring for me. It seems to be the height of evolution for all the human characters in the book. They go from kinda cool to crazy/irrational/poopieheads if they don't agree with Anita's new lifestyle. First Ronnie than Dolph.. I guess you can count Richard in there somewhere though he's not totally human. I'm guessing Zebrowski will be the next character to go south.

No, I can understand how Dolph is reacting, but he is going over the top. It is Anita's choices and life and all in all, her and Dolph are co-workers and it's not like they go out for drinks or go to parties together. Anita and Zerbrowski are different because he seems to be more understanding whereas Ronnie and Dolph both kinda freaked right from the get-go. Zerbrowski is safe I'm sure. No, I think it's more of the fact that Dolph and Ronnie are both stubborn and holier-than-thou (almost) type people and so they clash easily when things don't go how they want or expect.

I think it really sucks that Laurell has made Dolph so hostile against Anita, he was one of my favorite characters 'fore all this "I hate you for sleeping with vampires" s**t. D':

Unfortunately, Dolph is letting his emotions and personal feelings affect his job, he really needs to work on his tolerance. Just because his son might become a Vampire to be with the woman he loves, it's no reason for him to get all up in arms and destroy his relationship with Anita. He's such a biggot.
