..Got your attention huh?

1. Recently finished pinup for Halloween. I decided not to do a background for this piece during the whole process. Major criticism is needed on the coloring and shading. (I'll love you FOREVER..well maybe till you keel over.)

I honestly don't know A LOT about coloring/shading... but lemme see if I can't help a bit.

I'd add a bit of pink or so to the shading. I was told that using colors of the same hue but darker for shading is... boring? bad? I don't remember... but she told me to use other colors. I think it would make the peice more sensual like you want. Especially adding some pick to the cheeks as a flush?

I hope that helps even a little sweatdrop

On the topic of hue and value, your colouring doesn't stand up to your bold lines. If you want to keep your lines so very thick then you need to invest in some high contrast shading.
I do like how stylized your work is and I think that you can manage pushing your darks without altering your style.
A good tip to judging how effective your values are is to squint at your drawing, the darkest values will stand out. If nothing other than your lines stand out then you need to keep pushing your darks.
