Rose didn't like to go to the hidden room because it was scary and whenever she went there and listened to the beating drums. It unnerved her so the Doctor got her settled by kicking the Master. However, this time the Master wasn't around to be kicked. He had telepoofed magically underneath Six's leather jacket for some pepper and bread.
