It's been about four months since I've moved out of Seattle. I miss it so much, that I end up crying if anything really reminds me of it.
I wish I could go home. :'c
Has anyone else ever experienced this much home sickness before? How did you deal with it? D:

If you are homesick, it probably means you are not very happy at the new place you have moved to. The best thing to do is try to find activities to distract you from getting homeskick. Find out about the local stuff where you live and try to join a club or something. Meeting new friends always helps too.

I did do all those things. xD The thing is I just get really sad from time to time when I think of my family who lives there. D:
Thank you very much though. :3

I lived in Colorado for one year--it was a complete polar opposite of WA. The trees were bare year-round, there was no rain, the weather was desert-like... I mean, it was pretty but I missed the buzzing Seattle city and the sweet rain. I was so thrilled when my family moved back. :] Been here ever since.
I don't think many people born and raised in WA can ever truly leave it--everyone I know that has moved away, comes back in the end.

Weeeeeeell, I might be able to leave WA for the Oregon coast... It is so gorgeous down there. I plan on retiring (whenever that is) down in Cannon Beach, OR. Beautiful.
Besides that, I do not plan on leaving WA. :] We're supposed to get snow sometime this week!! Yay for Seattle snow!

There's nothing keeping me here so whenever I can go, I probably will. I have a friend in Canada who wants me to come live with him but I'm leery of that, hah.

Shadow__dancer Unless its seattle snow STORM O_O Like last year. That was freaky to drive in!!! Ouch!! Yeah, I remember that... Not fun at all. I still lived in Gig Harbor at the time... but I made the mistake to drive in it with a car that didn't have 4-wheel drive. I got stuck, slide down a hill and almost drove off a cliff-like edge.

I like it here a lot as well. I want to spend a year away at least though, to see what else is out there. In the end though, I think I could settle in the Seattle area.
