Apparently the profile thing was just a big ol' miscommunication, but it's all good now. Just remember to PM profis to RiffyRaffy and wait for them to be accepted before posting. heart

Also, Hermes Faction is open. But kind of quiet since I'm the only one. So any wanderers, feel free to go pester Enid or start your own sideplot there. Also, Axis is open and there's a thread started in it. Keep in mind that there needn't be any sort of time continuity between any of the Factions or Axis unless an event is going on, so if you can keep it straight in your head you can have your character in a couple places at once.

Yay, we're getting more interest! New members, feel free to post in the introductions thread! If you post your birthday, you might just get a present when it rolls around. whee

Oh, and there's a new Guild spotlighted this week, check out the Advertising/Spotlight thread in the OOC subforum. Also, keep in mind that you can post new threads in the OOC subforum that talk about whatever you want.

Apparently not everyone read the rules all the way through or something, because you're supposed to pm your profi to RiffyRaffy and have it be accepted before posting it. >.> It isn't a huge problem, because you guys rock, but I do have reasons for doing this (in case there are spelling or continuity errors you aren't aware of, etc., so they can be fixed before posting, as well as having a back up copy in RiffyRaffy's PM's) so I've locked the profile page. It will be unlocked for members whose profiles have been accepted to post them up. Sorry guys. sweatdrop

And keep in mind, guys, that part of the appeal of a new land of their own was so these people could have a home--even if they don't stay there much, being a part of a faction is something VERY FEW would not do. You can belong to a faction but rarely go there, but I highly encourage members with no current faction to pm me one they want assigned to their character. You don't have to, but it'd be nice. I'm officially disallowing it on newer characters, and I'd be happy if we could remove it from older ones (part of the need for review before posting), mostly due to the way they set up the governments and such.

ANYWHO. I still loves ya, and I'm glad you guys are enjoying things so far. Let us know if you have any problems/suggestions!

I'm very excited about how well roleplays are going even with so few members, but I still would like to have at least a few more active members before I unleash any major plot twisters or do events. So what does this mean? Recruit, recruit, recruit! Tell people about us, bump/promote us in our advertising thread, add a link to us in your signature--whatever. Oh, and if anyone has any ideas for events and such, don't hesitate to let me or Maho know!

Icarus Faction RP Subforum open!
In case anyone was curious, once a faction reaches 2+ members, I feel there are enough to roleplay and so enough to warrant the opening of a subforum. Woo~

As each Faction gains enough members to begin RP, and if we have enough funds within the guild, there will be a subforum which opens for each Faction.

My triumphant return! Classes are back in session, so I have campus internet access again! Yay! Also, I'm moving into my own place the second week or so in February. What does this mean? Home internet access that does not rely on the actions of an unreliable roomie! YAY! I have a TON of plans in store for Riff Raff, including a little tidying up and a little expansion. Yes, you heard me right--expansion. Things will be shifting around a bit, and Riff Raff is going to become a multi-roleplay guild. As of now, I'm planning on three main roleplays and a thread-roleplay subforum. If you have any ideas for roleplays that we could open up our roleplay thread subforum with, or roleplays that have quite a bit more flesh on their bones and could possibly be one of our main roleplays (i.e., roleplays with their own subforum), PM your ideas to RiffyRaffy!

Once we get the ball rolling and get some more members in here, it will be possible for thread RPs to become one of the main RPs. If, that is, they are wildly popular and have a decent amount of people in them. There'll be a whole petitioning process I'll explain later, but for now, just know that there are bigger and better things in store for Riff Raff.

We are still open, and I can certainly work around people who are mid-rp, so let's wake this guild back up, people!

I'm back! ....For a week. >.<
My problem is that I currently don't have internet at home, and we've been quite busy at work for the past couple of weeks, but I'll be around a lot more for this week. Next week is Thanksgiving Break, so I'll have spotty internet access (if any). HOWEVER. I have a few plans for a Winter Festival that I'm sure you'll all enjoy, and I'll have two glorious weeks before winter break to implement them. I'll be getting home internet access in mid-December, so once that rolls around you'll all see so much of me you'll get sick of my avatar. XD
But yes. The week after next? Plan on frequenting Riff-Raff often. Fun things will be going on. <3

Don't worry guys! You haven't been forgotten!

I won't be on very often for what will probably turn out to be about the next two weeks, but I will still try and check every weekday for PMs, join requests, questions, etc. Maho should be able to help you guys, but I will pop in to help if there's anything she doesn't know/can't do. The roleplays I'm in are a bit slow right now anyways, so there shouldn't be any real problem there. Also, I am moving all the old updates to a post in the Archive subforum in case you need to check something or whatever. heart
