Before she could reply, there was a light wave of water that completely covered her slim form, and she was wet. Moyo shook her head, twirling her ears to wipe the droplets from her fur as she glared playfully at her mate.
"Firstly, if you die, and leave me alone on this earth, I will be very put out. Secondly, you will probably perish in this war you've started. I hope you know that."
The memory had washed over her in time with his splash of water, bringing back feelings and the emotion of awe when she first saw his white pelt...glowing before her.
Her paw lifted out of the pool to sweep a responding wave towards him, though he was a good distance away from her (and much stronger) but she still saw most of her water splash against him. She grinned, satisfied, and regained a good footing in preparation.

After the water sprayed across him, he cracked a smile, holding back a laugh as he replied, "O, Moyo, you deceitful shrew, breaker of hearts, and... uh... hurt-er of lions!"
With a dramatic twist, he fell into the water, causing a great splash. In only moments he resurfaced, much closer to her, a very comical sight. His fluffy mane was completely flattened against his face and neck, making him appear much smaller than usual.
"And in return...!"
He flopped into the water again, hoping the resulting splash would soak her even more.

She let out a shriek once, twice, as Kiwi pounded into the water--right in front of her, which soaked her fur. Again.
"I'll show you how I hurt lions!" she retorted, jumping into the water right next to him, splashing with her small-ish wave, before she ducked underwater and pushed him back down. Her feet propelled her a safe distance away, where she surfaced, grinning.
But when he had come up, before, with his huge mane sticking to his neck and much more smaller than he usually looked, she couldn't help but grin even more. She would have to remember to splash water on him more often, then.

"The pain! The misery!" he wailed in mock agony, pretending to faint. Another great splash erupted when he hit the water. When he emerged, he grinned mischeviously at Moyo. "And that's how I ruin a lioness's perfectly groomed fur!"
His worries about the fight seemed so far away, even though it had only been minutes since he thought of them. How could he worry, when life was so carefree like this?

"UGH." Moyo gave a playfully frustrated groan and grinned wickedly at her mate seconds before leaping and tackling him back to the ground, albeit gently because of his freshly-cleaned wounds. They landed with a splash, soaking them both yet again.
The water floofed his mane up even more, and she couldn't help a breathless giggle as she tried to sit up while still on top of him, to take most of her weight off.
