Okay. Just started watching Smallvile again and I have missed a bunch. Any one want to fill me in. Where did Kara come from and where is clarks mom. Please let me know.

Martha's a senator in Washington now.
Kara came from Krypton. She came at the same time as Clark but her ship got stuck underwater, she's been in suspended animation and has only just emerged.

Martha should guest star this season. They could make up a pretty good storyline with Martha being a senator and all.

Foetus In Fetu Martha's a senator in Washington now. Kara came from Krypton. She came at the same time as Clark but her ship got stuck underwater, she's been in suspended animation and has only just emerged.
oh and kara is clark's cousin. :]

clueless-in-the-forest i wonder what exactly zor-el did to piss off jor-el...? Lex went back in time and traveled to their planet. He then set up Zor-El to make it look like he tried to assassinate Jor-El, but then died on the way back to Earth. This stopped the time paradox, but also means Lex will die when he's 90.

Yay cousins!
I couldn't care less about Jor-El at this point in time. It annoys me that they're trying to pass him off as not being evil, when if you look at what he's done in the past... I'm just saying.

er are you forgetting about the entire seasons 1-5? that's pretty much all they did was talk about how basically corrupt Jor-el was and was trying to make Clark. It's a game of manipulation. But when you look at the stand point that they are taking now. Zor-El is "technically" (i use that word loosely) the more "evil" of the two brothers.

Jor-El has been built up as this guy you seriously don't want to trust, but now the way Smallville is presented it's almost as if Jor-El is suddenly a good guy and Clark should trust him and all of that stuff just never happened.
