See, I have no idea why Rowling would even mention this. There is no evidence of ANY specific sexuality from Dumboledore in the books. And being gay doesn't do anything for or against Dumbledore as a character. So what, is she trying to make her characters more "universal"? If so then I personally take offense. This is just going to be one more thing that close minded people are going to use AGAINST the book series.

You have characters with small, unspoken aspects that you find very, very important to the character and without them, they aren't who you want them to be.
