Kenai smiled as he broke through the last of the forest that surrounded the Kusini boarders, then turned back to make sure his family was alright. He'd offered to go first simply because he wanted to make sure that they would be in no danger.
It had been a long time since he'd left his homes but now he was back! And with a family no less. It was an amazing feeling, soon they would have a den of their own that they could all call home. "Ayo, we're here!" He called, the pretty lioness just coming into view.

Ayo came around the bend slowly, keeping an eye on all six of the small cubs. She had let Kenai travel ahead a little bit because he knew the path better than she, and this was his homelands. If another lion was to encounter her or the cubs it could proove dangerous.
She smiled as she brought up the rear. The cubs where more interested in playing than in walking and keeping up with their parents. This alone had slowed progress. Her tail flicked as she nudged the little boy at her paws. "go on hon, we're almost there." she smiled up at Kenai and winked at him. Akin squeeked a little as his mother nudged him. He looked up at her with wide eyes before darting forward. He laughed as he sprinted away running up and passing his siblings to finally stop beside his father. Plopping down he batted at his fathers side, wanting to play.

Rasui traveled a little slower but kept pace with his mother. Curious eyes of cerulean blinking this way and that as he took in the new surroundings. Such a vast place that stretched out around him, the poor boy thought he'd topple over. It was awkward and odd but he'd get used to it just the same. There was plenty of family if danger arose and he was rather good at hiding behind another warm body when he was frightened or shy.
Padding along as his little paws pressed into the sandy coated terrain he moved upward following after his brother, whom was batting at his father's tail. Running up past his sisters and brothers he pounced upon Akin and nipped at his tail.
