I believe that european cars (BMW and Mercedes in particular) have a strong (for lack of a better word) base in their cars. While this base makes their cars reliable and fun from the factory, it also can make them difficult to modify. Japanese cars, on the other hand, seem to embrace modification. I'm not saying that ALL japanese cars are easy (or smart for that matter) to modify, or that ALL european cars are reliable and difficult to tune, I am simply saying that in my experience, this is what i have experienced.

well my favorite car is the lotus elise....but i really like japanese cars.......europe exotics are cool but.....u can't customize them cuz their perfect already... if u like to mess with cars u would want a cheaper car...like a japanese car...which have lots of potential...i guess.....lol

I'm a Chevy kind of guy, but if i had to choose, even though I'm Asian, i would have to lean towards the eurotuner cool

Personally I prefer american cars. they cater to the home mechanic. maybe its just the design of my car(1994 mazda 626 LX V6) that puts me away from asian cars. as for europeans, they're just too expensive to fix IF you can find someone who knows how to do it PROPERLY
