Honestly?

There's not many of us - you're... what, the 13th member? As guilds go, we're still very, very small.
Plus a lot of people on here just dont have regular internet access - I'm sure they'd be on more if they could, but they cant - Roger tH and Hellboy have said before theirs is erratic, and it's a safe bet that others are too (I know Swordblade, Sarah1984 and Ineedtherapy probably havent even signed in since they joined, but kicking them would be counteractive - need to be seen to be growing, to bring in members so we actually Do grow). S.E.T.'s pretty regular, but as it's only been a day or so since you've been here, maybe he's just had something going on.

You look at any guild, and chances are good that only 1 in 10 of the members post regularly, if we followed that pattern, there'd only be the one of us. For a guild this size, we're posting about right. (I've just checked another guild I'm in - they've 53 members, 23 of which have never posted more than a single message, and as it's a RP guild, I expect it'd have more active members that more discussionish guilds like this)

Also, we're not small because we're being muscled out by a bigger Hellboy/BPRD guild - were the only one, we're small because there aren't that many people interested enough in Hellboy to want to talk about it regularly - much as I hate to say this, we really are your best bet.
And what would you gain by leaving anyway? It's not like there's a maximum number of guilds you can join - surely all you'd be doing is losing one possible option - cutting off your nose to spite your face. I hate to sound like a jackass, but it's true. I wish the guild was busier - I founded this for the same reasons you joined, and people leaving just because we have slow days isn't doing anything to help the guild - it's still a baby, needs nuturing - we're a bunch of Indie-comic fans, the geeks of the geek world!

Now, I've not posted because I wanted to give the previous thread a day or two - see if anyone else had any ideas.
I've not updated the Lobster Johnson thread because honestly, the second issue hasn't added much - there weren't many major twists developed, there's hints of things, but not enough to report on, and I've not recieved the next copy of the current Hellboy or BPRD comics. Plus I'm not managing to keep up with the animated series, so am in no possition to comment on them wink

People are drifting in, slowly but surely - we're getting bigger eventually!

We're growing though (I also tend towards horrific periods of inactivity) - since I last checked (admitedly, that'll have likely been when you joined), we've had 4 applications!

I love Both movies!! There's not one person I don't like!! They all are cool!
