Uh, what's Read or Die? I know it's an anime, but, what's it about, and where can I find it?

We should probably start a thread about Read Or Die.

Read Or Die (ROD) is a manga, an anime, and a movie. One of the main characters is Yomiko, an extreme bibliophile. She's also a Paper Master, meaning she can control and alter the form of any kind of paper. Her best friend is Nenene, a fairly well-known author.
In the series, Yomiko has dissapeared and Nenene hasn't written anything for the entire time she's been gone (four years). Nenene meets up with three sisters; Michelle, Maggie, and Anita, who are also Paper Masters (and bibliophiles, of course).
The stories are rather mystery/spy oriented, and very entertaining. I'd say more (I could go on forever about bookslides and burning libraries), but I have much to do today. It's my Mommy's birthday smile

I've only seen the movie when it aired on Adult Swim. My friend says I am crazy over books like Yomiko! xd Like that's a bad thing?!

I'd heard very little of Read or Die. Sounds really interesting, though. I wonder if the manga is licensed in America...

My group at Avalon (my local gaming store) are starting up a "Read or Die" BESM game, only me and 3 others seem interested or knowledgable so far though...
