So, I;m a little annoyed at my boss. He keeps mishearing (or rather, selectively hearing) things, and changing his mind every three seconds then being pissed that no one is doing what he wants.
So recently, I asked if I was working Monday (today) because the schedule was weird. He said I could work a six day week if I wanted to (which is what it would be if I want in Monday.) I didn't really give an answer, because I didn't know if I wanted to or not. Then I got sick on Saturday, and still am, so I didn't go in.
So he calls and whines that I told him I was going to be there today. But I didn't say I was going to be! crying So now he's pissy about it, and I feel a combo of bad and frustrated. It makes me sad. crying
Discuss! -People assuming/misunderstanding things then being angry with you about it -Similar events at school/work -Anything else you can think of

I hate it when people do that! I'll say something simple like, "What's that?" And my mother will start yelling at me. She'll go on and on and on. Then she'll end with, "Well, you're just in one of those teenage moods aren't you? I'm not gonna argue with you any more." WTF? I haven't said a word!!! gonk

-agrees with everyone else- My mom does that ALL the time. I swear that her favorite phrase is "Well you don't have to be so ruh-uuuude!"
She ALWAYS is asking me stupid little questions like: What are you doing this weekend?" and I'll simply reply "Nothing" which is generally the truth. Then she'll go into some rant about how I don't appreciate her enough, and I shouldn't be mouthing off. What did I do wrong?!?

Aww. *Hugs* I know what you mean, doll. And what the rest of you mean, too. My mom is sort of like the rest of yours. XD
It's different, though. I'll genuinely be upset about something important, and it usually involves her (Mom and I don't have the best relationship), and, instead of taking what I say into account, she gets mad and dismisses it, saying, "You're just in a mood today!"
Ugh. >_O
And other things like "Mom, you shouldn't let Kayla get on Gaia, she's only 7." "Why's that matter?" "Because there are things and people on Gaia that Kayla doesn't need to be associated with. There are things that kids her age aren't supposed to see." "Then what are you doing on there?!" "I'm 17, Mom. I'm allowed." "If it's okay for you, then it should be okay for her! You're just mad that she's allowed to do something fun!"
stare I'll be the first to tell you that Kayla is the least favorite of my little sisters (though I still love the twerp to death), but come on. I'm not that petty.
It's like, excuse me for trying to keep my little sisters semi-innocent in a corrupt world where women (and men, but not as often) are looked at as playthings rather than as real people, people joke about things like rape and murder, and kids get pregnant at 12-years-old. Sorr-ee. neutral
And my mom lies a lot... ugh. We won't get into that. Sorry for ranting your eyes out, girls. XD

I wouldn't let my 12 year old cousins on here, let alone a 7 year old! You should find a pr0n troll thread in the GD and link your mom to it. XD "You want her seeing THIS?"
Thanks for all the sympathy girls, and I'm sorry that your moms are seemingly really difficult. D: I'm lucky to have a great mom; it would really suck not to have her. (Though my biological father might well be enough of a d**k to balance it out? XD)

I kinda tried that, NP. XD
I went to the GD and scrolled down the lisyt of topics.
Stuff like "HAWT LEZBO P0RN," "christianz suk," "Rape is okay!" Etc.
And Mom STILL lets Kayla on here. >_O She blames it on the fact that there are cute dolls to dress up. mad I showed Kayla TekTek, and she STILL gets on Gaia. Rrrgh. =_=
But pfft. I tried... If Kayla grows up with screwy values and ideals, no one can blame it on me. (And by "screwy values," I don't mean different ideals and opinions; I mean screwy values. I mean, saying that rape is okay, and actually trying to argue the point? Talking about how members of a certain religion are so terrible because, supposedly, they all hate everyone? Hypocrisy, much?)
...Oh wow, I ranted your eyes out again. gonk I'm sorry!
Anyway, you get a high-five for getting along with your mom. *High-fives* Parents, especially the one of your gender, can be really trying at times. XD
