Ah, our show is "Virus" =/. For some reason people voted on having it Resident Evil themed. o_o. And I don't that's very original because we've seen other schools do that theme. Eh, we'll tweek it somehow. o.o

For the '08-'09 season, which i won't be a part of since I graduated, it's "Bon Jovi". But last year was "West Side Story" which was awesome because we had a percussion feature in the middle of the third song and it was just the most amazing thing ever

Our theme is "Chicago"
I'm not particularly thrilled about it, i saw the percussion part, and it wasn't that great, but im happy for my friend, lovingly known as "Trumpet Sk8R GRL" because she is the trumpet section leader next year, so she should have fun with this show.

Well we originally decided to do Nightmare Before Christmas...and absolutely everyone loved the idea.
Until our director looked at hte score and found there's not enough brass for all the parts. D:
So now we're doing a Beatles show that quite a bit of the band dislikes. I dun see why, it's just as hard as the NMBC would have been...

Our theme this year was michael jackson and jackson five songs.
I loved our show this year, it was Thriller (yeah the band and c.g. actually did the dance. obviously the dl didnt do it), I'll be there, I want you back.
It was awesome, specially for my first year.

HeHe. Were Playing A Show Called, "Fiesta". The Opener Is Land Of Make Belive, and I have a mega-hard-mega-fast solo in it from bar 11-20. It makes my hands hurt. It's so funny though. I'm a 8th grader, and all of the other kids in pit are older than me. and I'm only 2nd chair. and I'm the one playing on the big side of the marimba, if you search PLHS Vangaurd 09 Field show. You'll need to wait untill after compatition season starts though. and their gonna alter my solo! there giving me a easyer version [after I memorized the whole f-ing thing] and giving my section leader my original solo!!! sheesh. the other two somgs are [in the same order as what were playing]:Brazil, Autumn Leaves.
