well today i had got hacked they had took some of my good items and took all my gold. but i was thinking of a way to stop it if you have in comment to this form leave ok bye

There is no 1 way to stop a hacking. But I can tell you this. I caught someone in the act. IT was titled Gaia glitch. and was posted in 1 of the halloween event baces. It said the person got (I can't remember how much exactly so I'll make up a number that 1 think is close) 180,000,000,000 gold. It said click the link. I did and it took me to a page that looked like I logged out of gaia. I clicked the "X" on the page and then went back to the last page I was on using the History feature on Aol. (which you could also do on Internet Explorer and anything else like it I think...) Needless to say it was eaisy to tell it was a scam because it said I was still logged in. Also other people had already posted it was a scam but I just wanted to know more about it before posting anything. One person's post said something like " Notice there are 2 "e" 's in online. This is odvioulsy a scam" I quoted that person and typed out what I did which I already said here. Shortly afterward the thread was removed.
So whats my lesson here?
NEVER TRUST ANYTHING THAT MAKES TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE PROMICES ABOUT TONS OF GOLD! AND IF YOU GO TO A LINK AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU LOGGED OUT OF GAIA THEN CHECK THE WEB ADDRESS TO MAKESURE! IT MAY LOOK THE SAME BUT LOOK VERRRRRY CAREFULLY! IT COULD ALWAYS JUST HAVE I LETTER DIFFERENT OR ADDED ON! If you ever see any posts like that then REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY SO THAT NOBODY GETS HACKD! *ahem* or at least nobody else if someone fell for it b4 you found and reported it.... or someone else reported it.... Its horrible to get hacked but still it's just an online game. If you got hacked then change your password IMMEDIATELY!
This will prevent any further unwanted hacking by the accusied hacker(s).
Also look on the bright side, if you got hacked just think "At least it wasn't my stuff in my real house." Still being hacked is not good. This is why its hard to trust people over the internet. -_-
