Probably the biggest thing that pisses me off about that guild is how anything considered objectionable is almost immediately Gestapo'd, being edited into complete s**t.
I actually told her once that when I make a rude post I mean for it to be rude in its entirety and if she doesn't like it then to just delete the entire post instead of chopping it up.

Obscurus Probably the biggest thing that pisses me off about that guild is how anything considered objectionable is almost immediately Gestapo'd, being edited into complete s**t. I actually told her once that when I make a rude post I mean for it to be rude in its entirety and if she doesn't like it then to just delete the entire post instead of chopping it up. It's like they're bible thumping toddlers in a day care and we're college kids going in there, and we're not allowed to say the world is not flat, or any scientific data that disproves anything in their bible because it might hurt their feelings. If their faith can't stand up to reality then they don't deserve it. And if one is having an argument "feelings" shouldn't really play into the matter unless one person is ridiculing the other. Baron Von Turkypants had a discussion with me about her calling people rude and said something along the lines of "I find one of the number one things someone can do to be rude is call someone else rude" I personally don't like being pretty much called barbaric. It should be against the rules for any guild to edit a post to portray a different idea than the original unless the post disobeyed the t/os... And in that case the post should just be deleted, right? I can only note a few times I've edited a post, one was when Jason called me a blue frog and I edited it just for fun, the other when there was a GIANT like 3mb image, so I deleted the

ShadowHail Alright, I'm ticked off now... Does anyone else have the feeling that they don't care about possibly getting banned from MR? Because I've got the strong urge to go in and give them a talking to, likely this talking to will involve sharp objects. twisted Perhaps I'm being too agressive, but I think that a mass of people complaining about the level of grammar and such in that guild might have an effect. Plus we can totally tell them off for being mean to LoBo. <.< So, anyone else with me? Feel I shouldn't do this? Want cookies? Lobo quit... he can join anytime He could always go back to MR I mean we have nothing against him there I don't quite understand what the issue is I edited one thing... if he was upset he could have told me and I would have apologized And how is a discussion between Lobo and Psyche a reason to be mean to the people in that guild? I mean were they in that discussion? Why can't Lobo and Psyche just talk through any misconceptions they might have had in that discussion I know Michelle apologized I am sure she was just in a bad mood and was coming off a bit not as nice and understanding as normal I doubt she meant everything the exact same way that its being portrayed Was Word wordChanged to Word wordSuch a horrible edit I thought Lobo would have appreciated the change as I know how he is a fan of the proper portrayal of idea's I thought he wouldn't be mad about that I didn't touch anything he had to say I didn't think he'd be mad or I was doing something completely OMG Burn in Hell terrible If he had a problem he could have told me

Changing "its" to "it's" can change the entire meaning of a sentence. One apostrophe changes the entire idea portrayal in a sentence, that sentence can make an entire paragraph not make as much sense or have a different idea, that paragraph can make a paper lose its worth. Mission complete; my entire reasoning behind something was destroyed. I spend at least five minutes typing, evaluating, typing, editing, re-evaluating, then editing again. That is entirely beside me typing the idea. I've coded programs before, I've programmed games before, one single letter difference in that will make a computer shut down and never start in some programs, I am not the type of person to make an error in coding. Of course you didn't know that, but by knowing how much of a perfectionist OCD wannabe I am you should have known the mistake was there, just like if I said "leik oh em jeez u r teh fluffz" you wouldn't edit that because it was made to look like hacker/newbie slang. I would rather have the majority of my posts deleted than edited.
