You must :
1.Be as swift as a coursing river
2.Have all the force of a great typhoon
3.Have all the strength of a raging fire
4. And be as mysterious as the dark side of the moon.
Discuss: Gender roles Your opinion on gender roles Your own made up gender roles and "requirements" Jello?
(Oh Sheet! I could post this as a Sticky if I wanted to. I won't, since I respect the IIPG like a lover. Mmmm....)

Off topic: 1. He would be so effing sexy if he weren't a cartoon character. 2. I'm now listening to that song. 3. That theoretically makes Donny Osmond very sexy... Hmm... 4. Just happened in channel and seems mildly relevant:
- I'm a woMAN. - Therefore, I do what I damn well please. - I pwn all but Xumbra in the hierarchy of the world. The other ops just happen to be allowed to fight back and be tolerated. - People should make me a sammich when I ask for one. - I haven't had jello in a while. D;

Firiona He would be so effing sexy if he weren't a cartoon character. Don't I know it.... I swear, the best guys are either gay, taken, or fictional. -Thinks of a certain few bishounen- And.... I have nothing else to add to the topic. ;P

And there are definitely some sexy fictional characters out there. And some sexy real life people. But either way, we can only dream about 'em. ;_;

Firi: Freudian slip?
In either case, I like being on top of the name list. [/me pats the caret/spaceship]
Yes, I'm well aware that's an emote.
Some fictional female characters are cute.
I think gender roles exist only when perceived. If you're oblivious to these things, then who cares, right?
Also, Mulan was a great movie. Classic.
Also, to be a man, one must fight the Huns.

Perhaps.
Gender roles definitely exist, but perhaps not for some people. I doubt everyone will ever stop perceiving them. But you might and it won't matter.
I don't think I make sense.
A man is tranquil as a forest but is on fire within. Therefore, make sure you have plenty of Pepto Bismol handy.

I think a man should at least look somewhat like a man. If said man looks femenine by, oh, having long,silky, chestnut hair and pretty eyes, then just acting masculine will be enough to counteract that effect, hopefully.
Unless a man is in a band that is Visual/Oshare Kei. Then it is pretty much implied that any "girls" are actually guys.

I don't have anything against "girly" men. It's what they're like or want to be like. It's not my place to think they ought to be more manly. Arguably, some are pretty cute/ sexy.
Although, I do have issues with muscle builder women. But I have issues with men that have giant muscles as well. It's just creepy. D:

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing really against pretty men. All I was saying is that they can be percieved as femenine if they didn't act masculine enough. But mostly, I was just somewhat inconspicuously making fun of Neji Hyuuga. Just 'cause he has pretty mair and eyes. <3
-Cough- Anyway, I have problems with steriod-popping muscle people too.

Pretty men--guys at my school are obsessed with their long hair...>.> It's disturbing.
Muscle-popping morons--ye-no. Just, no.
