Nowadays, I rarely buy dvds unless they're used, because I can get a discount at EB games. The only thing is whether they have what I'm looking for or not. Sometimes, they do, sometimes they don't. It just depends on when I decide to go. I don't think I've ever seen tapes there now. The tapes section is diminishing rapidly in major stores.
Ah. ><# That's even worse than my friend's. Hers, despite the powers, only has a mentor relationship with Itachi. Let me guess, they fall in twu wub after that? >>U *sighs* I can understand if it's a one night stand and no feelings are involved, but if she goes onto how, Itachi fell madly in love with her, I'll have to spork that story and sic that one person who usually comments harshly on Sue fics on her.
Well, you can always go to the library and only read it there. You don't have to check it out, but I spend a lot of time at Borders, because my library doesn't have some of the titles I'm looking for.
How about both? It's about the same way with me and Final Fantasy VII. I'm even cosplaying a couple characters. Maybe even more.
It's okay. For some reason, I like the support characters in it better than the main characters. Like Yuki's dad. I also wanted to do a crossover with Final Fantasy VII and Vampire Knights. =/ Weird.
Sadly, a lot of authors use it as an excuse for blatant OOCness. I like it, because it puts them in different situations; thus, allowing you to explore the different possibilities they wouldn't normally have if you stuck to the canon setting. Yep. Like Jell-O! XD~
Somebody said I was sane. o_o I don't know what they're talking about.
I don't know, but for some reason, I think Rukia looks cuter in the manga than the anime.

Most of the time I can't even find tapes anymore. Then again, I don't really look for them, either.
Yeeeeah. . . The sad thing is that she has talent as a writer, like her style of writing, but her characters are extremely 2-dimensional and all her stories are posted right after she finishes them: no revision or anything. *sigh*
And the library doesn't have a cafe xd
Fair enough. I want to cosplay, but I have trouble getting to cons and stuff. And then there's the matter of spending money. . . I've heard it's pretty easy to spend quite a bit at a con. . . So I should probably get that job first *sigh*
Ha ha! Do it! Even if you never intent to post it. I'm wring a Bleach crossover that'll never see the light of day. It's kind of like NaNoWriMo: since you're writing for yourself, it can be as crappy as you please! xp
Thats the problem with writing AU. I'm constantly fretting over whether or not something in IC or not ^^;;;
Don't they know you at all?!
Just kidding.
Rukia always looks cute to me~♥

Crossovers are fun. Especially when they don't require too much tweaking. Although, depending on the crack level, some definitely shouldn't see the light of day except for the people that helped you think them up. *is going to crossover hell for the one that she's planning*
AUs are the same, they can be fun and just as long as they aren't the characters suddenly transposed into a new setting (although I can think of a few series where that wouldn't go too awry) they can be good. I'm personally a fan of the 'what if?' AUs rather than one which suddenly makes Ichigo a knight in Arthurian England and Ishida a tailor.
Suddenly, I'm rather curious as how people worry over ICness... I don't go "gotta keep this in-character" I just read over what I've got and scrap it if I realise that it's something that [character] would never do.

Even though I do most of my thinking on my own (cause I'm a loner cool like that!), if I feel my story just might be worth any of the time I put into it, I consider showing it to my friends. The problem is that the only friends I'd consider forcing to read my stuff are the ones who don't read/watch Bleach *sigh* That, and any time anyone reads my stuff I become quite self-conscious, so I'm usually pretty reluctant.
Really? I like just the opposite! To me, if something is going to be called "alternate UNIVERSE" then you should make it one, and not just "same universe, really, just with a few tweaks that have a variety of consequences on the canon story". But, you know, to each his own, right?
I remember reading a Star Wars fic that was perfect. Honestly, I could every character saying all of their lines clearly in my head. It was wonderful. Sadly, I've lost that fic (waah!), but I try to keep my writing at the same level. As I said, however, it's difficult because my"betas" (if you could call them that) only have a vague idea of whats IC and whats not. v.v

Tapes are a thing of the last century.
*sighs* It's so sad when people have talent or potential and let it go to waste. I remembered reading fics in where the author had a good grasp of the English language and a good writing style, but often used Sues as their protagonists. Tis sad really. *shakes head* I at least revise my stories once. That's usually the transition between paper to computer.
Touche. But Borders has those whiny fan girls (at times).
Oh yush. Half of your money would probably be spent on getting a room. They're expensive unless you go with a group. I'm going with one other person. We're sharing a room. Not sure if a third's going to be coming. Might be financial difficulties. But yeah, job must come first.
Probably, but I already have so many ideas and not enough time or inspiration to get it down in detail. Plus, I've always been wanting to do a Vampire: the Masquerade/Final Fantasy VII/Kingdom Hearts crossover. Even if it's for myself, I try to make it as good as I can or at least decent.
Same here. More than often, I'm writing mainly from canon with some degree of AU.
Sadly, yes.
I'm not kidding.
Manga Rukia looks cute to me, but Anime Rukia is...
I'm plotting evil plots.
Crossovers are fun when you can get them to work without having to write like five to ten chapters just to get them to work.

Very true.
I write the first draft, let it sit for a while, revise it, wait some more, revise it a final time, then have one of my so-called "beta readers" take a look at it.
Thats when you "accidentally" trip on the carpet, spilling your mocha on them. Waste of a mocha, but it brightens your day. Just hope you don't get any of the books.
Another reason to wait till I'm 18. Get my license, get a car, camp out in the car. That, or try reviving my social life.
That sucks. I hate having ideas floating around in my head. Then they have time to develop, and actually look promising.
Never played Vampire. Wanted to, though.
Same here. Thats why I'm never going to think of attempting NaNoWriMo. Banish my inner-editor for an entire month? Ha! She's a parasite, she'll never leave!
*ears perk up*
What kind of evil plots?
Thats why my crossovers are less of a combining of the two series' plots and more of taking the Bleach characters and writing about them in *insertfandomhere*'s plot.`

I don't wait that long to edit it, because I'll probably forget about it and move onto something else. Normally, I have beta readers look at it; however, my short gift fics and this one series I'm doing, I'm posting it without a beta.
Why waste a good mocha on them. Why not accidentally hit them with an unabridged, hardbound dictionary?
I'd go with reviving your social life while saving up enough money for a car. Remember, you have to pay for car insurance, gas, and anything you couldn't pay for in the initial payment all the while interest accrues.
Tis very fun though hard to find a decent RP group.
I'm going to attempt Nanowrimo every single year. Each year, I've become better at making my goals. Now I just need to type it out so I can pass something onto the word counters.
Evil plots to torture certain characters.
Same here. Mine are more of taking characters from one series and inserting them into another. It's hard dealing with two plots.

I'm lazy. I'll think: I should write the first chapter to _______! But I never do. Besides, I have bad luck with online betas.
Mocha's burn.
If I do that then I already have some friends who go to cons. I could talk to them, see when they're going next. I probably should; I already have most of my stuff. Just need Rukia's Sode no Shirayuiki. But last I checked it was about $130. . . v.v
I know! The very first RPing group I joined was excellent. They were all good writers, and we had a good plot. I was pretty crappy though. My earliest days of writing. Ugh. . . It hurts to think about it. So many amateur mistakes. . . Such a weak character. . . GAH!
Sadly, I'm no longer in contact with the other three RPers T~T
I tried doing it in December, but I've just no discipline. I got 600 words down. And I wasn't the least bit happy about what I was writing; I just couldn't continue. *sigh*
Oooo~ Who? Who?
Yeah. Pain in the arse. Plus it's just my proffered writing style: non-canon.

For me, it's a combination of too many stories and me being a slacker. So yeah. I have great betas. It's mostly on my part.
But books can potentially knock out the person if you get her on her head.
I have friends who go to cons too, but they're usually in the east coast. I don't know anyone who would attend Anime Expo; however, this year, I have a couple of friends who are willing to fly out to SoCal. Still need a lot of material and including sewing my jacket.
I'm involved in a good RP, but it's a mature group. The other RPs I've been in range from so so to excellent. Sadly, they've ended, because the players dropped out one by one. I don't know whether it's because of RL or they just became slackers.
Do tell. I remembered when I first joined a rpg. It was horrible. I was too anxious and did a lot of amateur mistakes. Fortunately for me, it happened to be the serious rpg, and they let me stay fortunately. Through that experience and others, I have become a better rper. They said I've improved over time. I used to be primarily a writer.
Tis sad. Maybe we can RP some time.
I remembered I usually can knock down a chapter or two, but that's about it. Now I do one shots or drabbles. They're so much easier. One of my projects is a series of drabbles. If you read them sequentially, they're like a multi-chapered story.
The peeps from Final Fantasy VII, more specifically Kadaj, Zack, CLoud, and Sephykins.
Or maybe take the characters from both series and put them into a different setting. XD~
