So, I was wondering if anyone else out there has a website resume thingy. Here's mine: http://mmelx.comI don't know if I should organize it differently or something. Now that I have that up though, I can finally get business cards done biggrin

I have a resume website, but I'm still working on it. It's mainly for my voice over work I'm working on making a few different ones. Like one for Tech, on for stage acting, and then one for my voice over. They are all on one right now. It's a bit cluttered.

I had one at one point, but it's so far outdated, there's really no use in reviving it. I haven't done much lately anyway. cry
Elphie! I didn't know you did voice overs! Is there a particular studio or agency you get your work through? VO's sound like they'd be so much fun!

Non professional work, thou I have been in a car commercal that ran on local television in relation to the car lot and I have done two sing-a-long songs for children's theatre productions I was in. I want to try and find more work in the field, but in my current location there is not much of a demand for it. I need to move somewhere else to pursue it. I would link, but it seems that the server when I store my resume is down. I really hope I can get it back up, cus I don't have most of it saved.
Edit: It's back up now. My net is being wierd but anyways... here is the car commercial I was in: http://animatedtvspots.com/marty/marty_video.php I was the red talking car. The children's theatre songs are not up yet, but here is my animation demo. It's in bad need of an updating and a trimming down: http://www.voiceacting.org/amby/Amby-Leigh_Demo-Reel.mp3

Yeah, as soon as I graduate, I'm going to hopefully set up a full professional website for my acting resume and voice over demo's (that haven't been made...yet).
If you are very serious about your profession, you should find a website that is mostly free of ads (you will most likely have to pay the server, but that's the way it goes). a.k.a., no angelfire or geocities. Something that might help, is finding some decent program (software that you find online or buy) that helps make a website, and then converts it to html or java. Some run pretty cheap, but some don't sweatdrop
There are also pleanty of websites that are free (that aren't geocities or angelfire). They aren't as good, but there are other sites that help teach basic html that you can use for your website.
WickedElphie: I'm at work, so I can't listen to your demo, but I will when I get home. It's nice to know that there are other people in the voice over industry!
Edit: Nice car commercial! But the animation demo doesn't work. It reminds me that I need to start saving up more for a recording session. Sweet.

I found that synthasite.com is really good, no ads on the site, and it's free :] My site is emilybrodtman.synthasite.com If you want to check it out :] It has my singing and music I've composed, plus my music resume.
