There is so much that can be said about Flarn, so much that should, but I probably won't say it all. He was one of the first to reach out a kind hand to us, and the first to do so kindly. He came to us, risking everything, to warn us of the ill intentions of others of his family. He was the one that in the end, guided us all to peace.
I remember the first time I meet him. After a second try we'd finally created a triangle in towns, it was great, and not too long after Bobo, Flarn, and another sibling (they never spoke, so I don't know who, back when they were all undefined) showed up. They were so impressed with our work, it was a great feeling. Flarn and Bobo even answered a few questions, (though mostly Bobo).
Now, taking a 'selfish' moment, I want to talk about the Believers. Most didn't know, but the Believers were not peaceful, or hippies to start with. xD I believe my first post compared us to those followers in Independence Day, you know, the first to die? xD But Flarn started to talk to us, promising to show us the light of their way. He quickly worked his way into our hearts, and as we let him in, he began to tell us secrets that he was not supposed to. He risked his own life so that he could warn his new friends. Told us of past Zurg adventures and the misfortune of previous planets they've been to. We hid him away from his family, faced the scolding of Mother and others that we were hurting him, that he'd have to be returned... We even found out that he was dying slowly, that being in our atmosphere so long and away from his ship, was slowly killing him. Yet he didn't tell us about it, he didn't want us to know how he was sacrificing himself for us.
And then... the only way they were finally able to draw him out was baiting him, threatening to harm his much loved Narf, and they attacked him when he agreed to show, though even then he refused to fight.
Flarn's message, the one that completely shaped the Believers and those around him was one of peace, he dreamed of one day seeing us all get along... and though it cost so much on his part, he did succeed in a way. Though they in the end had to leave, for a time, we did all become friends, and that was because of Flarn's first steps into leading us into a goal of peace.
Of course as we all know, he changed, for the worse it seemed, but I think we should remember that he did so because he sacrificed himself for us, that he was selfless in that action. And while the most tragic of events has passed, we still have friendships to remember, and I hope that someday we can all see that side of him again, as we began to see before they left.

So it's not hard to fall, when you float like a cannonball...
