Back in April I had severe abdominal pain on my right side. I was off school for a week because it was so bad. They ruled out apendicitis, but they never really told me what it was.
A couple weeks ago, it happened again. This time the pain was on my left side, and 100 times more intense. The pain was so bad that I threw up >.> But I was rushed to the hospital off my university campus. They couldn't figure out what it was.
However, the nurse that was attending to me was asking me all these questions, and she told me it was probably an ovarian cyst that had burst. It made soooo much sense. I asked asked my doctor about it (my family doctor, the one at the hospital was a moron) and he said that he was 99% sure that's what it was.
I've talked to a lot of people that have had cysts before, and they've experienced the same kind of pain.
I thought I should let everyone know about this smile
Anyways, I was advised to go on the Pill to prevent this from happening again and I was just wondering from the people that have been on it, how useful do you think it is?

One of my friends is on the Pill for the exact same reason. She's gonna have to switch pills soon, however, since her body built up a tolerance to the one she's on. Apparently you need hormone levels high enough to keep cysts at bay.
