the '3rd eye' is a sixth sense... it doesn't mean you'll see dead people! yeesh! it's basically people's ability to see energy and stuff... most people have it partially opened. just, ground your feet, hold your palms up and imagine sending energy or 'something' into the palms of your hands. You might feel a pressue or a heat and if you want to see it then unfocus your eyes and don't concentrate on the space between your hands but look beyond them, at the floor or the scenery behind them. this is easier done in a dim room against a white/neutral background. if you see colour inbetween it's your aura and when you see this, it's using your 3rd eye. another way is to put your 2 index finger almost touching nad look beyound them to see your aura... both cases is using your 3rd eye to see.
generally meditation will help open psychic channels and the 3rd eye

Kyuka J_walker_anonymous I can say this much, No one in the world would be able to handly the thired eye being open all the time, the stree level would be too high. Ok just amagin sitting in down town New York, Now x it by 10 and that would be the noise you would be hearing all the time day after day after day. Not to menchen that some times you would not be able to tell the dead from the living, there for being diagnosed as insain and going to live in a white padded room for the rest of your life. It is best to have it closed trust me on this one it if Fing scary to have it open... heart Yea.. I was seeing/feeling stuff... but I am not sure if it was paranoia or actually things....... I kinda just dismissed it and now it seems the house is alot less.. um heavy >.O? because I always felt heavy or crowded before.... sweatdrop well I kinda still feel like some one is with me all the time gonk paranoia? or~ Every one Can feel the presence of a nother being but some stronger then others depending on your beliefs. And I think you are jjust one of those people that can feel thinks more then others. You see every one always mistakes the Sixth sence for the third eye, well they are both very different things. The third eye gives you the ability to not only feel the presence but to see and hear them as well. were on the other had you have the sixth sence were you are hyper sencitive to your suroundings, you can feel the being around you, or if you move in to an old house you can feel the emotion left behind from other familys that have past through there, the sixth sence can also give you the ability to heard the past, I don't mean dead people and people that have past on but I mean the history of the house or building you are in, its not the people you will hear it will be the house or building...

The only way I see it possible to being able to handle that would be if a person had access to 100% of your brain and since normally the most one has access to is 10% one would have to find a way to unlock and control 100% of the brain but even if they did that their body would not be able to handle the strain it would put on you so you would probably die. That's just one theory I have. you are very much right when it comes to your brain theory, but when it comes to the third eye, your alittle off bace, it wouldn't be so much learing to use the full extent of your brain it would be learning how to controle the third eye and to do that you would have to have a compleat and full understanding of it and no one has that. But with your Brain theory your smack on, No one would ever be able you use 100% of there brain, it would kill you because your brain is like a labrinth, its a very powerful thing it used properly it could brobably brake the laws od physics. There are people out there who kill them selves and don't even know they did because there brain bacicly has a melt down and it causes you to see and hear things that aren't real. Thats how my Uncle died, his brain Scared him to death, he becames so scared that he had a hart attack, but his brain was mush.

Anyway yeah sometimes you could think it's your third eye when it could also be your mind playing tricks on you. And also the brain is so smart that it places limits on itself to protect itself. A human with the ability to use and control 100% of his or her brain could truly be considered the ultimate human. But such power is merely a myth. For now anyway.
