Omg.
OKAY SO. 8D; As some of you may or may not remember! Back in Game 10, I was attempting to quest for an AFK, which I've wanted since it came out back in November of 2003!
Unfortunately...it rose to 1mil and even though I attempted to keep going..I gave up and went onto other quests!
Then back when Lucky Star aired it's final episode a few weeks, I was in a chat with a bunch of people from the Lucky Star LJ community I'm the mod of and this person was giving away her items to us since we ended up talking about Gaia! And thus, I acquired a pair of Golden Laurels....which I sold for 555k. And went on a small shopping spree.
AFTER THAT, I STILL HAD OODLES OF GOLD LEFT. So...I just sat on it awhile, bought a couple letters when the prices were still NORMAL (20k for a letter GOOD GOD. DX) and then while browsing for a third in the exchange...I came across "Offer for my AFK" threads!
So thus I got to thinking and Roy egged me on and I started offering and...got turned down once, cancelled one offer in favors of another with a person online.....
And here we are! 8D I got my AFK omg. Eeee I never thought I'd get one.
And now. TO QUEST FOR SOME OF MY FAVORITE ITEMS BACK I am insane oh gawd. 8D;

And the moral of this story is never give up and have friends to egg you to getting these expensive as hell items. 8D

I've always wanted an OMG, but I'm not willing to give up my scarf to get one, so I've pretty much abandoned that idea. XD

Edit: Also, Ezzy would someday like Nitemare Scarf. ._. Maybe if I sold a bunch of my letters. I've got letters from WAY back.

YAY FOR CHI.
I'm waaaay to undisciplined to quest. Seriously. My record was 27k once, and then I spent it all.
But I think I'm going to buckle down and start questing for a human G-Corp labcoat. This time I will prevail.
