I've posted this topic on other forums, but got no response. So I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me. I thought that it was only coordinators who could go into seed mode (example: Kira, Athrun, Shinn, etc.), but I seen that Cagalli could do it too. So my question is: Is it true that anyone can go into seed mode and not just coordintors, or was that something that someone made up and put on photobucket? I would greatly appreciate it if someone can clear this up for me.

Cagalli actually did go into SEED mode. I don't know if other naturals can, it could be possible because of her being Kira's sister too.

Cagalli did actaully go into SEED mode in the final episode of Gundam Seed (Phase 50), during the Second Battle of Jachin Due, after her pilot friends, the girls from ORB, were killed. Some people decided on the spot that it meant she was really a Coordinator like Kira, but I don't think so. Everything revealed in the storylines proves that Cagalli is the Natural child of Ulen and Via Hibiki, whereas Kira was the only modifed one (probably because he's a boy, and his birth father seemed to me to be the macho "boys are better" type.) So now all four main characters have done the SEED mode, although I think that was the only time for Cagalli.

Here's another question on this topic. In a few episodes of SEED that I've seen, Malchio calls them "Bearers of the Seed."
Uzumi also says "The Seeds have flown," before him and the other ministers blow up Orb. (Not saying he blew up the entire nation. I just couldnt remember the exact places.)
What exactly is the Seed?

As far as what Seed Mode is, there are rumors that humans only use 10% of their brain or something like that. While the rumor has been proven false, it IS true that people don't use every portion of their brain at one time but use more of it at other times (for example, you use less of your brain when you are merely walking than if you are running, and you use more of your brain if you are playing tennis than if you are simply running). Basically, the more complex the activity is, the more of your brain you tap into. This also applies in the series, as when Kira needed to use his mobile suit more efficiently, he went into Seed Mode so that he could use more of his brain capacity in order to balance the activities of opperating the mobile suit more efficiently.
