Welcome to my Under the Northern Lights journal! This is were you can find some basic info and RP logs for my dogtotem Kekoa and his human partner Sesi, and anyone else who comes along. I really love the shop idea, because it echoes something very important to me, so expect to see me lurking and begging for RP for both of them ;D

As Sesi's totem, Kekoa is her spirit guide. When she first came of age she was given a common dog totem-stone which she carried it everywhere. Even though these are the 'normal' totem to get in the tribe, Sesi wasn't sure she was suited to have one... but after a while she started to understand why she was given Loyalty and so, Kekoa was manifested into the world!

Name: Kekoa
Meaning: Brave one
Age: Puppy
Personality: Like all youngsters, Kekoa is playful and curious. He's chosen to spend half his time playing with Sesi and watching out for her, and the other half in the wild exploring. After all, he's a dog yeah? And he's Sesi's, yeah? So he should be out with the other dogs, roaming in the wild like their ancestors the wolves, be true to his blood. But he should also guard his girl. No matter where he'll roam and how much of a good time he's having to Sesi he will always return. That's Loyalty! Yeah?
Physical: Kekoa is a dog but he's of a breed that's not so far from the wolves who first came in to sit by man's fires. He has larger paw size, yellow eyes, longer legs, and bigger teeth than more domesticated dogs, though not so large as the wild wolfs. He is built for stamina, with a narrow chest and powerful legs. Though this young, he looks a big lanky compared to some dogs, and his paws look oversized somewhat! Not as wolfy as a hybrid, but more so than your average dog.
Powers: Kekoa has recently discovered that he and Sesi can communicate through a link of their hearts! It's very weak and hard to keep going for long, but when they're very close they can understand one another. He wonders why he can't chat to the others in the tribe sometimes, but isn't really bothered...Sesi is the most important human anyway.

One of the Northern tribe now, but she was raised in the Southern lands. Her family came to join relatives just as she came of age. New home in new lands with new people in a new chapter of her life. This was odd for her, and she's always felt a bit of an outcast, which may be why Kekoa was late in manifesting from her totem charm. She had no idea why on earth she would merit a Loyalty totem when she was such a loner! But lately, Sesi's starting to realise how much her old bonds meant to her...and so she got Kekoa!

Name: Sesi
Meaning: Snow
Age: 19
Personality: A bit of a moody teenager, whose very awkward and shy, which has made her lonely. Doubley so since she's new to the North and misses her old friends. She doesn't even smile that often because she worries it makes her look stupid and she's kind of scared of the others in the tribe around her age because she fears rejection. If she could get over this they'd find she's actually friendly and funny...and very very loyal, only she doesn't know it yet!
Physical: Sesi is a wee bit chubby, with curves, and about average height. She's just naturally this shape since she helps out and is very active, for she likes to go for walks and daydream when she hasn't chores to do. Sesi often goes out to visit Kekoa or play with him on the edge of the camp. She has black hair that's so dark it shines a sort of black-blue rather than a brown. Oddly, she has grey eyes, rather than the more common brown in her family. Typical mocha skin, worn a bit from the elements.
Powers: None, save being able to talk to Kekoa! She's not a bad cook though ;D
