Yain took a quick look around the abandoned hallway, ensuring it was just that, before striding up to the bulletin board and spreading the large piece of paper across it. A few pushpins later, the mismatched professor quickly exited stage left, thankful everyone was mostly distracted by the announcement of scroll-winners.
[A Very Important Notice By Yours Truly (guess who. hahaha.)]So now you've got a scroll and probably no idea what to do with it. Unfortunately, that's my problem. As your freshman teacher, I will be teaching the basics of summoning and magic theory in the few short classes we have together; those with Lariths will learn to summon them and get acquainted, while those without Lariths will summon other familiars of their own to study.
Classes will be held on Thursdays (unless you are otherwise notified by me or one of the other professors) from 2-4 EST. It is perfectly fine if you are unable to make it due to other obligations; I will post lectures and homework assignments on the Somonen Academy network (if I can figure out the internet thingy -- the "Gaia Journal" specifically) for everyone to access.
Tuesdays are Office Hours day, where I will be in my office all day (or try to, at least, if no one drives me crazy and forces me to leave early) in case you have any questions or need help with your homework. Everyone is expected to complete all assignments without fail, unless you have a
really good excuse (and I'm not talking about your Larith eating your homework.)
If you are unable to make either date, you may email or call me on my cell phone for a private lesson. (And yes, being fully clothed is a requirement of this.)
As a pre-class homework assignment, please read over the list of clubs already posted up on the bulletin board and email/leave a message (or 'PM', whatever the slang is nowadays) on my cell phone as to which clubs you'd like to join. Messages are preferred, since people seem to like sending me viruses through emails.
Oh. And be afraid. Be very afraid. This ain't girl scouts, boys and girls.
