As you can clearly see, it is a purple, peg-legged penguin creature. In actuality they are demons and are commonly found throughout the Netherworld and Celestia. Their main duty is to work as servants to people, but can be used to fight when needed. In the Netherworld they are forced to do hard labor for 20 hour days for less than slave wage, 365 days a year with no vacations and a one fish bonus twice a year. In Celestia, they do meanial tasks such as laundry, dishes and the like for free. Despite all this hardship, they have a mostly carefree attitude and don't care. Also, they may look cute, but they are in fact very deadly as the pouch they carry contains knives, bombs and magic skulls.
Oh.... and be careful not to throw a prinny as they will explode when you throw them.
