On Pokémon NetBattle, I have seen many cases of "txt tlk". One user with the username "bluangel", constantly uses poor spelling and punctuation in the chat box. She uses messages similar to "wud u lyk to battl mi" and "i thnk u r lyk teh kool plyr on here", which can be difficult to understand for many users. I feel that she might be in a habit of omitting vowels, uppercase letters, and punctuation, but I still remind her that users who don't frequently see the way she chats may have difficulty understanding her chat messages. Another case of "txt tlk" I have seen on NetBattle is a user aliased "mask man" making scripts with retarded spelling, grammar, and punctuation. His scripts include text such as "you enterred the castle", "the palace gaurds ataked you", and "you is climin a wall then falled off". I haven't seen text worse than that, and I will notify "mask man" that his scripts need to improve spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
