I was thinking that if there was a little, cheap yet unique prize for everyone who made an entry in a contest or such, there would be many more entries.

I was thinking that for every entry, one allowed per contest, there could be a entry prize of 1 4-Leaf-Clover.
With 4-Leaf-CLovers, you can make:

4 > Lucky four leaf clover
or
2 > Four leaf clover pin
