Yet another report from Baron Samadhi. I found this article of utmost importance, as it will be a VERY extreme transition. If you have some time, I encourage you to read this.

Disclaimer: If you do not take every word of these horoscopes with the utmost faith, you will die. Statistics bear this out. Simply scan the newspapers. You will find that an overwhelming majority of the people that die each week DID NOT read the Baron's horoscopes.
Vol. 109: Dramarama
A busy week. Mercury stations, then goes retrograde on Thursday. Crucial communications will be made this week. Many of them will center another of this week's main events- the entry of Venus into Virgo on Monday, and her final conjunction with Saturn on Sunday. The constrained affections and finances that Venus' conjunction with Saturn represents will be the subject of Mercury's speech. All of this is seen and sanctified by the New Moon in Libra on Thursday, coding it into the existential DNA for the next month.
Mercury in Scorpio Retrograde
Mercury, in Scorpio for a few weeks already, slows down to a standstill. Moving parallel to the mind, Mercury's station and subsequent reversal slows down our mental process, bringing focus to key matters.
From Abyssal Epistles, Vol. 107: Old Yang, Fresh Yin:
"Mercury will progress to the 10th degree of Scorpio, - the 11th of October, and then spend the next 3 weeks retreating to the 24th degree of Libra before going direct on Nov. 3rd.
Each of Mercury's retrogrades share certain characteristics. Electronic devices break, people say stupid things, and transportation becomes a problem. But each retrograde has its own character and unique context. This particular Mercury retrograde connects the last decanate of Libra with the first decanate of Scorpio. On a personal level, this retrograde will challenge the truce we've made with other people. Social arrangements possessed of delicate harmony will be threatened as each member is impelled to explore the "selfish" motives which threaten the social cohesion. The social unity challenged by the powerful emerging motives for self assertion will continue to decay until a new point of mutual accord can be reached. This new point of mutual accord will resemble the old one, but wiser, for it will be a unity more cognizant of the differences netwixt each individuals' desires."
Venus' Return to Virgo: The Virgin's Revenge
Venus' entry back into Virgo, where she ingressed briefly in early August before turning retrograde, marks her movement out of Leo, where she has been for almost 2 months. During Venus' extended stay in Leo, she has changed skins, and begun to strut in a lion's pelt and leopard print. And it is this particular vision of Venus in Furs that will stride through the Zodiac over the next year and a half. Venus' journey around the Zodiac will see her Leonine mode challenged by each Sign's mode and myth. For description of Venus' current archetype, check Abyssal Epistles Vol. 105: Lady of Flame.
Venus enters Virgo this week. The self confidence and pride generated while Venus has been in Leo (especially since Saturn left) is due to undergo a considerable revision of its excess.
Venus' movement into Virgo shifts the emotional tone as well as people's ability to connect. While Venus was in Leo, good intentions may have been enough. Now that Venus is in Virgo, it is the form that friendliness takes which is important. In Virgo, Venus is in Mercury's territory, and relationships will be analyzed for imperfections. At this time, it is easy to become preoccupied with how perfect/imperfect things are.
Venus Conjunct Saturn in Virgo
Venus' entry into Virgo will be followed shortly by her conjunction to Saturn, on Sunday. Since Saturn and Venus have already have 2 conjunctions this Summer, in Leo, this third conjunction will reveal what Saturn's new place in Virgo and Venus' new cycle are all about. It will be the last paragraph of the introduction.
Because of her interest in physical perfection, Venus in Virgo tends to get tangled up in body-image issues and the related disorders of bulimia and anorexia. Body issues. Venus' conjunction with Saturn in Virgo reinforces this emphasis. It is a natural time to confront your personal health regimen, or the lack thereof. Don't get neurotic. If there's a problem, fix it.
Mars and Venus in their Fall w/ Mercury Retrograde:
Beginning now, both Venus and Mars are in the Signs of the Zodiac in which they are said to create their poorest results- their Fall. And because the positions of Mars and Venus have a powerful affect on human relationships, this is not a good thing. This period, beginning this week and lasting nearly a month, can be difficult for people in sexual relationships. Although Venus and Mars are in a pleasant (sextile/hexagonal) configuration to each other, neither is on their best behavior. The problem that many couples will see is men becoming needy and overcompensating while women remain cold and critical, exacerbating the problem. It is important for those who tend to play the feminine role not respond to their partner's moodiness with unnecessary analysis. Conversely, it is important for those playing the masculine role not to overburden their partner with their emotional needs.
For an extended treatment of Mars in Cancer,
check Abyssal Epistles Vol. 108: Red Leaves, Red Planet.
Good communication should solve potential issues. Except Mercury's going retrograde this week, in Scorpio. Retrograde Mercury in Scorpio excels at tricking hapless humans into obsessing over the negative and saying the most hurtful and poisonous things possible. Yes, with Mars and Venus in their Fall and a negative Retrograde Mercury moderating between the two, it should be quite a time.
All of this occurs within the gaze of the New Moon in Libra, crystallizing these difficult dynamics into the seed-pattern for the next lunar cycle.
Enjoy.
Horoscopes: October 8th-14th
Note on Horoscopes: 12 Fold horoscopes are a way to assess the general condition of the splayed rays of the zodiac. Although not without value, they are a blunt tool, and can only describe the archetypal activity in each power-zone. Although primarily present within only a few, each person, in reality, lives within all twelve. In order to sharpen the accuracy of statements, the Baron suggests reading the Sign the Sun is present in if you were born during the day, and reading the Moon for those of you born at night. Reading the Sign in which the Ascendant is placed is also advised.
Aries: Playtime Is Over
The warm rays you've received from Venus for much of the Summer slant away from you as Venus moves into Virgo. The Saturn-Venus conjunction in Virgo is likely to indicate a financial or health crisis that's been looming for some time. With the New Moon in Libra on top of this, the next few weeks bring home a serious focus on work and relationships.
Taurus: Poisoned Beef-Tongue
Venus' movement into Virgo is less problematic for you than Mercury's retrograde. Unless you have Mercury retrograde in your natal chart, you're likely to say all the wrong things, at the wrong time. Mis-steps here can severely damage your relationships. Make sure not to let financial and professional stress poison your tongue.
Gemini: Between The Lines
Ah yes, another Mercury Retrograde for our friends the Geminis. Miscommunications about money and personal standards of cleanliness in your home can provide ammo for disconnected debates around the old homestead. You'll have a difficult time seeing this particular set of issues, which center more around the emotional exchanges taking place than the issues being discussed.
Cancer: Horseless Chariot
The New Moon this week kicks off a brand new lunar cycle for you with a focus on your foundations. Its time to take a good look around the house and ask yourself whether your life is kicking enough a**. You've got a variety of resources sitting around, waiting for you to pull them together and create a war-machine worthy of you. Its up to you to harness the wild horses in your life to your vehicle.
Leo: Thorns
You may find that a subtle venom has been in injected into communications with the family and around the house. This particular poisoned thorn in your paw will need a careful hand to extract. Covering potential problems with sunshine just isn't going to work.
At the same time, Venus' movement into Virgo and subsequent conjunction with Saturn denotes coming to terms with financial limitations. Warning- Mercury's retrograde indicates that information about fiscal issues is likely to be faulty. Don't jump to conclusions here.
Virgo: Omen Check-Up
Dear Virgo, since Saturn moved into your Sign near a month ago, omens have been accumulating. These omens all indicate that you need to come to terms with the limitations of your current situation. If you've embraced these indicators, then good for you, Venus' entry into your sign and subsequent conjunction with Saturn will provide you with a preview of the benefits you'll be treated to as a reward for following the rules. If you've been ignoring the omens, then you'll get a bigger one. This coming month is an important one for you financially, so spend smart.
Libra: (Fall x 2) + (Mercury Rx)
The stars have not seen fit to reward you with a pleasing birthday configuration this year. The planets are lined up to problematize relationships. You'll be working through some difficult situations. Its important not to obsess about perfection in your relationships, because its nowhere to be found this Fall. Even good things will see their bad parts. Don't let the dark moods take you down the wrong road.
Scorpio: Junk Mail
Mercury's turn for the retrograde this week is the biggest planetary factor affecting you. The focus on communications and mental work has likely already become apparent in the days leading up to Mercury's station. Of the many messages coming your way, several are likely to be problematic. Sort your mail and toss out the junk. You'll benefit from avoiding unnecessary work and being thorough on that which you take on.
Sagittarius: Christmas/Judgment Day
The lunar month that this week's New Moon begins will be important in regard to friends, associates, and benefits proceeding from your workspace. These benefits will be the result of whether you've been a good or bad Sagittarius. Venus' movement into Virgo, like an anorexic Santa Claus, will be bringing good little Sagittariuses rewards for their performance, while bad Sagittariuses are likely get a lump of coal from their employers. Neither one is likely to understand why.
Capricorn: Not Doomed
Capricorn, you're one of the Signs which will benefit most from a configuration that may devastate others. Venus' movement into Virgo and her conjunction to Saturn most likely mark things beginning to come together for you, especially in regard to education and travel. It may take until Mercury's retrograde is over to get the good news, so be patience.
Aquarius: Telephone Game
The Baron's crystal ball says that work and money aren't your favorite subjects right now. A source of conflict within the workplace, or with the workplace is creating problems that has a powerful need for cleaner communications. The phone lines may be clogged by unspoken personal issues. Make sure your thinking is clear on issues you bring up to other people, especially at work.
Pisces: That + This
Mercury retrograde will likely talk to you about a variety of travel plans. Consider potential jaunts thoroughly before committing time and energy to suspect endeavors. With Saturn opposing Pisces in Virgo, its time to run a tight ship. Venus' entrance into Virgo marks the addition of a vision of perfection to the new set of requirements you're still adjusting to. Just imagine how dangerous you might be if you tasked your creativity and vision to a real work ethic.
