I was talking to a friend of mine about this question today. "What if the kids of the 80's were won over by Gobots instead of the Transformers? What would our world be like today?" What do you think? confused

What is more interesting is how incredibly close the Go-Bots came to being as big as Transformers . . . all just came down to really shoddy timing on the GB's front.
Oh, and to try and explain them, Brianna . . . Gobots are to Transformers just as Mega Blocks are to Legos. Cheaper, less quality, but also generally less expensive.

i had a motormaster a long way back when i was 8 those were the days especially when the gobots and transformer were both gearing for the same thing there was also another show that was released in japan that was the birth of the transformers we all know and love called diaclone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaclone

God, man. I do not know what the world be like if Go-Bots were to be more popular than Transformers. However, the Go-Bots will be one of those 1980s cartoons that will have the same comeback popuarlity, like G.I. Joe, He-Man, and Thundercats.
