Before anything else........ THIS THREAD MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR DIRGE OF CERBERUS!!!!!!!!!

So I was watching the ending of DoC...
Then I looked at google and found this forum topic

Their idea... VincentxShelke!?

I don't think so...

Just because Shelke has a Lucrecia thing doesnt mean she's for him.

If this was cannon then I wouldn't mind but...
It's kind of weird to see them together @_@

MAYBE Shelke likes Vincent (or even loves him, but not romantically)
And Vincent watches over her like she's his little sister or something

But to a point of romance?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

In my opinion, I'm more of a Yuffentine [VincentxYuffie]. I always thought of Shelke as maybe an adoptive relative really. I mostly agree with you, yes, I can't really see them romantically, but anything can happen.

Unfortunately, DoC gives off strong hints toward the VinxShelke relationship. He is oddly kind to her, quite protective to say the least and the fact that she hold Lucrecia's memories within her shows her "importance" to him. I'd rather discard the whole potential of them being a couple. Shelke may be an "adult" but her body is of a child. I suppose that's to offset Vincent's young body in his actual old age. Still, it's not a very nice sight in the very least. sad

It's very possible and could totally happen.

I mean, Luccy's dead, and she's going to stay dead, so I suspect Vincent would go with the next closest thing.

Although that's only with Vincent. I don't think Shelke might harbor feelings for him, and if anything I think she might dislike him.

But I'm just weird that way. xD;

And I kinda like Shelke with Yuffie.

I'm pretty sure that I'm a die hard fan of Vincent x Lu. And plus isn't Shelke only about 18? Vincent is over 50 years old... lol. domokun

Though I'm not a fan of Yuffentine, I'd support them more than ShelkexVincent. Age gap is huge....but who cares? Vincent may be a 60 year old virgin but he has the body of a young man. (Damn it FFF and Rica!!!! scream )

um...i dont think they would ever be romantically involved : vincent tries to remain unemotional, and shelke can barely accept her sister, never mind get romantic. if either of them were capable/willing, then yeah that would be possible, but as it is the odds are very much against the pairing.
besides, vincent seems to be very much in love with lucrecia. i think she likes/liked him too. i think she only went to hojo because of her guilt messing up her judgement.
